    Abstract: A detachable cross wrench includes a primary bar and a secondary bar. The primary bar has a thickening middle portion being formed at the center thereof. A turning handle is mounted on the other end of the primary bar. A lateral through hole is formed in the thickening middle portion for insertion of a secondary bar to create a cross type wrench. A longitudinal hole communicates the lateral through hole for receiving compression knob in cooperation with a resilient element and a positioning element. The compression knob has a slim portion in the middle thereof and an engaging portion at the lower portion thereof. Based on the above-mentioned configuration, the primary bar and the secondary bar can be easily and optionally engaged in place into one of the engaging grooves in the secondary bar for fulfilling the practical and safety requirements.

    Abstract: A connector for easily secure a socket thereon includes an axle rotatably received in an axial recess in an end of the connector and an inclined slot is defined radially in the body. A spring is biased between a first end of the axle and an inside of the axial recess. A guide portion such as a concavity with various depths is defined in a second end of the axle. A ball is movably engaged with a radial hole in the end of the body and operatively in contact with the concavity. A controller is rotatably mounted to the body and a pin extends through a hole in the controller and the inclined slot and is engaged with a receiving hole in the axle. The pin is automatically rotated backward by the spring when the user releases the controller.

The proportions of the wrench head are selected and the connection between wrench head and handle are selected so as to minimize the clearance required between a fastener and adjacent obstructions in a confined space for engagement of the fastener with the wrench.

If the present invention is to be used with a socket, the socket sleeves around the polygonal supporting unit; and the part of the buckle exposed from the annular trench will buckle the socket.

An elongate pawl piece is received in the groove and a first spring is located between the pawl piece and an inner surface of the recess. The first spring pushes one of two sides of the pawl piece out from the groove so as to be engaged with a rounded corner of a rounded hexagonal recess in the head of a bolt or screw.

A collar is movably mounted to the rod and has a connection pin connected thereto which is inserted in the inclined passage and engaged with an engaging notch defined in the pull pin. The pull pin is pulled toward the second end of the rod to receive the bead in a receiving recess in the pull pin to quickly release the socket.
