Abstract: The disclosure relates to a handrail treatment device which comprises a housing and a cylindrical base body which is arranged in the housing so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation. A cleaning facing is arranged on a cylinder outer surface of the base body, over which a circulating handrail of a passenger transport system can be guided for the purpose of removing dirt and germs. At least one radiation source is arranged inside the housing, which radiation source can emit germicidal electromagnetic radiation, wherein the radiation source is aligned with the base body in such a way that the cleaning facing moving continuously past the radiation source is exposed to the germicidal electromagnetic radiation of this radiation source when the base body rotates.

Abstract: An adjustment tool enables manipulation of a prosthetic anatomical device such as an annuloplasty ring. The tool includes a compression member which is operative for retarding rotation of the adjustment shaft to preclude inadvertent rotation thereof during use of the tool by the surgeon. A locking device is associated with the adjustment tool to enable the releasable attachment of the tool to the anatomical device during its adjustment by manipulation of the tool. The locking device is oriented into operative and inoperative positions by the engagement and disengagement of locking elements. A scale may be provided on the adjustment tool to assist a surgeon in determining the size or amount of adjustment to the size of the anatomical device during its adjustment.

Abstract: A stuck drill bit having a KCS shank can be removed using an article with a body structure. The body structure has an opening that fits onto the shank, and an inward-facing surface around the opening is at least partially complementary to the surface of the shank. The surfaces engage sufficiently that rotary manual force is transferred from the inward-facing surface to the surface of the shank.

Abstract: A driving device includes a driving shank, a magnetic member mounted in the driving shank, a stop ring secured in the driving shank to stop the magnetic member, and an elastic member biased between the driving shank and the magnetic member. The driving shank has a first end provided with a mounting post and a second end formed with a mounting hole and a receiving chamber. The stop ring has an inner wall formed with a through hole and an outer wall provided with a toothed portion engaging a peripheral wall of the receiving chamber. The magnetic member has a peripheral wall formed with a stop flange that is movable to abut the stop ring. Thus, the elastic member provides a buffering effect to the magnetic member to reduce the pressure applied on the magnetic member.
Abstract: A collapsible, multi-use tool for use in changing a flat tire includes a tool body having a first end including a curved chisel surface and a second end including a ratchet drive head. A central portion of the tool connects the two end portions, the ends of which are hingedly connected to the adjacent first and second ends. Sliding sleeves are disposed over the first and second ends and can be slid towards one another so as to cover the central portion of the tool and the hinged connections to keep the tool in a linear configuration that provides excellent leverage for breaking lug nuts loose. One of the sliding sleeves may be flared at one end so as to receive an end of the other sliding sleeve when coupled together.
Abstract: A tool element has a body and an anti-skid collar. The body has an external surface, a connecting end, an operating end, a mounting recess and multiple notches. The mounting recess is annularly formed round the external surface of the body between the ends and has a bottom face. The notches are formed on the bottom face of the mounting recess at intervals. The anti-skid collar is an annular collar, is detachably mounted around the body and has an inner surface, an outer surface, a holding face and an anti-skid face. The holding face is formed on the inner surface and is rubbed against the notches of the body to hold the anti-skid collar securely on the body. The anti-skid face is formed on the outer surface of the anti-skid collar.
Abstract: A hand tool impacting device may include, a drive shaft with an aperture, an impaler disk, and a floating pin positioned within the aperture of the drive shaft. A set of circular ramps on the outer edge of the impaler disk may interact with a stationary pin insert to translate the drive shaft and create an impacting motion. A pair of springs placed against either side of the floating pin may allow a specialized tool bit to engage or disengage the impaler disk, thereby allowing selective use of translational impacting motion, or rotational torque. An impact bit for engaging the impaler disk may include, a tool head configured to engage a work piece and a tool shaft configured to be inserted into a hollow drive shaft to engage a floating pin. According to one embodiment, the impact bit includes a number of sleeves to guide the tool head during operation.

Abstract: A hand tool includes a socket which is connected to a head of the hand tool and the socket includes first and second recesses in tow ends thereof and a passage is defined in communication between the first and second recesses. A push rod includes a head and a shank which extends through the first recess, the passage and is inserted in the second recess in which a bit is inserted. A spring is mounted to the shank and biased between the head and an inner end of the first recess. The screw bit can be quickly pushed out from the second recess of the socket by pushing the push rod toward the screw bit.
Abstract: A multi-folding screwdriver comprises a handle having a retainer formed therein; the retainer having a receiving space; a bottom end of the receiving space being installed with a first engaging portion; at least one via hole being formed in the retainer; a positioning element passing through the via hole; a driving bar being a multi-staged and bendable rod; a bottom end of the driving bar having a second engaging portion corresponding to the first engaging portion; an annular recessed limiting portion being formed at the driving bar. The driving bar is received in the receiving space so that the first engaging portion of the retainer is engaged to the second engaging portion. Thereby the retainer and the driving bar can rotate; and the positioning element passes through the via hole to resist against the limiting portion so as to forth as a limiting device.
Abstract: A multi-functional screwdriver including a shaft forming a pair of coplanar bends rotatably mounted to a handle having therein a compartment for storing a plurality of bits is disclosed. To prevent rotation of the shaft within the handle, a locking device is provided which includes a locking member and a collar assembly. The collar assembly includes a lever collar attached to the handle, a locking clamp collar attached to an upper section of the shaft, and an insulator collar for rotatably connecting the lever collar and locking clamp collar. The locking member pivotally attaches to the lever collar and is removably inserted into a depression in the locking clamp collar to prevent the shaft from rotating within the handle.
Abstract: A folding multipurpose hand tool including a pivoted latch that engages side walls of a handle and a base of a folding tool member to hold the folding tool member in a selection position. A separate safety interlock latch keeps a folding blade stowed in a handle when another tool is moved from a first position with respect to the handle. A tool bit holder securely holds and drives reduced thickness tool bits that can also be engaged in and driven by conventional sockets having a regular hexagonal shape.
Abstract: A tool adjusts a damper assembly having a pivot arm and an arm fastener. The tool comprises an inner elongate member, an outer elongate member, and bushing collars. The inner member is telescopically received in the outer member. The inner and outer members each comprise a first member end, a second inner member end, and a member axis. The first inner member end comprises a fastener adjuster and the first outer member end comprises a pivot arm adjuster. The bushing collars are cooperatively associated with the first outer member end, the second outer member end, and an outer member surface of the inner member for maintaining the inner and outer member axes in collinear relation for forming a reach axis. The inner and outer members are each rotatable about the reach axis. The fastener adjuster adjusts the arm fastener and the pivot arm adjuster adjusts the pivot arm.

Abstract: A manually operable impact tool that includes an elongated rigid interior handle structure extending longitudinally with respect to the tool, an impact head disposed at one longitudinal end portion of the handle structure and an exterior impact cushioning gripping structure affixed to a second longitudinal end portion of the elongated interior handle structure in surrounding relation thereto. The exterior impact cushioning gripping structure is formed of inner and outer layers of molded material. The inner layer is a foamed material that is selected from a group consisting of polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, and thermoplastic elastomer and is molded in surrounding relation to the elongated interior handle structure. The outer layer is constructed of a solid nonfoamed material that is chemically compatible with the inner layer and is molded in surrounding abutting relation to the inner layer.
Abstract: A tool holder for holding tool bits, e.g. Allen wrenches or the like, that includes a tool head having a transversely extending hole for receiving a tool or tool bit and a connected stem having an internally threaded bore connected in communication with the transverse hole. A screw is threaded in the bore of the stem for securing and releasing the tool adapted to be received in the transverse hole. A handle having an internal seat is rotatable about the stem and connected screw and longitudinally movable relative thereto between a latched and unlatched position. In the latched position, the handle is freely rotatable relative to the stem and independently of the connected screw. In the unlatched position a seat in the handle engages the head of the screw whereby the rotation of the handle in one direction or the other effects the drive of the screw toward or away from the toolhead accordingly to either secure or release the tool bit.
Abstract: A manually operated device including a tool holder used as a handgrip and a tool with a material-processing tip. The tool has a shaft having an elbow with respect to the tool holder and being rotatably positioned in the tool holder. The material-processing tip is positioned on a first axis of the shaft, and a second axis of the shaft is rotatably maintained in the handgrip, so that a working pressure exerted on the handgrip is applied offset by a distance between the two axes. Material processing, for example deburring or countersinking, is possible without having to regrip the handgrip.
Abstract: A collapsible locking crank for use in locking burial caskets including a body pivotally housing a crank key arm and crank handle. The crank key arm includes a hexagonal key head on its free end for engaging the locking mechanism of the casket. The arm and handle may be pivoted away from the body to an open, operative position and toward the body to a closed, inoperative position. Rotation of the crank key arm about its longitudinal axis is had by rotation of the crank handle through the crank body when the crank is configured into a generally Z-shape. The crank is compact and lightweight for discrete and dignified use.
Abstract: A method for forming a binder-free granular or semi-granular fertilizer is disclosed, which comprises mixing a seed material and primary and secondary nutrient sources in a blender under heat until a slurry is formed, transferring the slurry to a long dryer, and drying the product under vacuum and thereafter gradually cooling the product to produce a granular or semi-granular fertilizer with a core of a seed material and a coating of secondary nutrient salts crystallized thereabout, with nutrients and biologically active agents entrained therein. The fertilizer formed has excellent stability and may be urea-free.
Abstract: A reversible bladed screwdriver comprising a slotted hollow handle and a pivotally attached reversible screwdriver blade capable of being reversed when in a fully extended position, being held in a conventional colinear position when retracted and being held at an oblique angle to the handle for maximum application of torque when in a semi-extended position. Such a screwdriver is particularly useful for one handed application of torque.
