Abstract: A multi-functional hand tool that has releasable tool attachments that affix to a pair of articulating handles that provide for gripping, rotating, twisting, cutting, pounding, and performing other functions commonly done using a number of different tools. The multi-functional hand tool having a locking mechanism that provides for manipulating a workpiece, without damage or marring of the workpiece.
Abstract: Locking pliers include a stationary front jaw, a stationary handle, a movable front jaw, a movable handle, an adjusting screw rod, and a locking lever. The movable front jaw is moved toward the stationary front jaw to clamp an object therebetween when the movable handle and the stationary handle are forcefully brought together by an external force applied thereto. A releasing lever for unlocking the movable front jaw and the stationary front jaw has a flex wall body with a substantially flat central portion and two opposite curved side portions flaring curvedly and upwardly from the flat central portion. The flat central portion has a width larger than the diameter of the adjusting screw rod.
Abstract: A universal plier structure is disclosed. The plier includes a plier body having an adjustable handle and a fixed handle, a suspension seat, an opening-adjusting knob, and a pad. The fixed handle has a bottom end having a first screw hole. The suspension seat has an end provided with a through hole. The opening-adjusting knob includes a screw rod and a knob head, the knob head being fitted in the suspension seat and having a center provided with a second screw hole, the screw rod having a first end engaged with the first screw hole of the fixed handle and a second end passing through the through hole of the suspension seat to engage the second screw hole of the opening-adjusting knob. The screw rod is welded to the knob head. The pad mounted between the knob head and the suspension seat.
Abstract: A pair of locking pliers includes a first jaw, a first handle, a second jaw, a second handle, a toggle, an adjusting screw, a release lever, a spring, and a soft jacket. The first handle extends from the first jaw and includes a space defined therein. The second jaw is pivotally connected with the first jaw. The second handle is pivotally connected with the second jaw. The toggle includes a first end pivotally connected with the second handle and a second end inserted into the space of the first handle. The adjusting screw includes an end driven into the space of the first handle for abutment against the second end of the toggle. The release lever is pivotally connected with the second handle. The release lever includes a first end for abutment against the toggle and a second end to be pressed by a user. The spring includes an end secured to the first handle and an opposite end secured to the second jaw. The soft jacket wraps up the second handle and the release lever.
Abstract: A quick release and toggle locking mechanism for a conventional pliers-type, toggle-locking hand tool comprises a compound toggle link. The mechanism includes a compound link pivotally connected to a movable handle and a toggle link. Retention means is provided for restricting pivotal movement of the compound link relative to the movable handle.

Abstract: A wrench is formed of two jaws which are shaped to conform to standard fasteners, such as hex nuts, and are supported within a housing for translation relative to each other for gripping the fastener. Closing force on the jaws is exerted by a pivoting handle acting through an overcenter linkage. A crank-shaped lever is positioned contiguous to the overcenter linkage permits operation of the wrench with the jaws being either tightly clenched or slightly withdrawn from the fastener. One end of the overcenter linkage is connected to the housing by a screw which is rotated to set a spacing between the jaws.
