Handle For Tool Patents (Class 81/489)
  • Patent number: 11780066
Abstract: A fastener driving tool includes a cylinder, a piston movably disposed within the cylinder, a striking rod operable by the piston and having lift teeth, and a lift and release mechanism for lifting and releasing the striking rod and the piston. The mechanism includes a rotatable toothed disc which has disc teeth that sequentially engage with the lift teeth as the striking rod is lifted from a lower driven position toward an upper retracted position. The toothed disc is movable relative to the striking rod with a torque generated as a result of a non-meshing interference to bring the rotating axis of the toothed disc into deflection away from the striking rod for releasing the interference, and is further biased by a biasing member back to its original position.

  • Publication number: 20140182425
Abstract: The invention proposes a hand tool comprising a handle, at least one operating portion, an elastic layer and a protective layer. The handle is a region for a user to hold and apply force. The at least one operating portion connected with the handle has different shapes based on different elements engaged with. The elastic layer set on at least a part of surface of the hand tool is used to absorb vibration and acting force when using the hand tool. The protective layer set on the elastic layer is flexible and contractible and therefore prevents components of the hand tool from loosening and being abraded. The protective layer is further provided with a texture surface comprising a convex surface and a concave surface to increase friction.

Abstract: A process for producing molded products having portions formed with two separate materials is provided. The process involves forming a first component over a structural core in a first step, and forming a second component that is secured to the first component and the core in a second step. The second component can be formed directly over the first component or can be secured thereto after formation. The first and second components can additionally be formed with indicia thereon, or with recesses within which inserts containing the desired indicia can be positioned. Additionally, the first component can be formed with a ridge disposed on a projection formed on the first component that effectively seals off a portion of the first component when the second component is formed around the core and the first component to ensure the portion of the first component surrounded by the ridge remains visible after formation of the second component.

  • Patent number: 8739662
Abstract: A telescopic handle for a hand tool includes a main shank connected to a tool head at a distal end and insertable into an outer sleeve which a user grips. The main shank has a plurality of axially spaced retained regions such that a radially movable retaining member is engageable with a selected one of the retained regions. A key-and-keyway mechanism is disposed to guide axial movement of the outer sleeve and to guard against rotation of the outer sleeve relative to the main shank so as to permit delivery of an appropriate torque to the main shank. An operating member is disposed on and movable axially relative to the outer sleeve to radially move the retaining member.
