Patent number: 11701748Abstract: A sintered magnet sawing apparatus is provided comprising a cylindrical work carrier mounted on a horizontal rotating spindle and having a regular polygonal shape in a perpendicular cross section, and a plurality of endless elastic belts adapted to force a work of sintered magnet against the carrier surface to secure the work thereto and adapted to travel synchronously with and counter to the rotation of the carrier in a circulatory manner. In accordance with rotation of the carrier, the work is delivered to the peripheral surface of the carrier, secured thereto by the elastic belts, moved further forward and cutoff machined by an outer cutoff blade. The divided work is moved further forward, released and discharged from the carrier.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2021Date of Patent: July 18, 2023Assignee: SHIN-ETSU CHEMICAL CO., LTD.Inventors: Hitoshi Inami, Takafumi Ueno, Kazuhito Akada, Masaki Kasashima

Patent number: 11541566Abstract: A bread slicer includes an infeed side and a hollow infeed assembly positioned in the infeed side, the infeed assembly having an open end and a closed end defining a chamber for receiving bread to be sliced. The bread slicer further includes a pusher for pushing the bread to be sliced along the infeed assembly, and a linkage connected to the pusher, the linkage adapted to move the infeed assembly from a bread receiving position to a predetermined position of a bread path, the linkage adapted to then move the pusher and the bread to be sliced along the bread path from the predetermined position to a delivery area. The bread slicer further includes slicing blades having sharp edges to slice bread moving along the bread path.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2021Date of Patent: January 3, 2023Assignee: Oliver Packaging and Equipment CompanyInventors: Vance John Matz, Yvonne M. Johnson, John Curtis Kortman, Lorie Ann Morse

Publication number: 20110083539Abstract: A flush cut tool is configured with a support unit operative to hold an armored cable in a desired position. The flush cut tool is further configured with a cutting unit including a hand crank, a blade assembly fixed to the hand crank and a friction assembly. The hand crank is configured to rotate relative to the friction assembly about a pivot axis until the blade assembly is brought in contact with the jacket of the cable. Thereafter, the hand crank, blade assembly and friction unit continue t rotate together about the axis of the cable so that the blade assembly is operative to produce a ring cut.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2009Publication date: April 14, 2011Inventor: Lucien C.
