  • Patent number: 10987821
Abstract: A food processor includes a base including a first end and a second end, a fixing member, a spindle assembly, a bearing assembly, a switching member mounted on the fixing member, and a cutter. The first end is provided with a tool rest for fixing the cutter to cut food. The fixing member is mounted on the first end. The spindle assembly includes a spindle rotatably mounted on the fixing member and a fluted disc fixed to the spindle for fixing the food. The bearing assembly includes a bearing block mounted on the fixing member and a bearing mounted on the bearing block. When the switching member is in an open position, friction is generated between the bearing and the spindle. When the switching member is in a closed position, the switching member can drive the bearing away from the spindle so that the spindle can freely move.

  • Publication number: 20120234147
Abstract: An apparatus for feeding and slitting soft goods has multiple slitting systems with respective slitting blades mounted on a cross rail. A slitting blade positioning system is movable parallel with the cross rail and operable to move slitting systems along the cross rail. A material feed motor is connected to a feed roller and operable to move the soft goods past the slitting system. A control is first operable to cause the slitting blade positioning system to move identified slitting systems to desired positions on the cross rail. Thereafter, the control operates a drive shaft motor to rotate slitting blades mounted on the drive shaft and the material feed motor, thereby moving the soft goods past the slitting blades.

  • Patent number: 7900544
Abstract: A combination slicing and dicing food processing device. The device generally includes a cutting box and gliding body which travels back and forth across the cutting box. The gliding body features a food cradle that is configured to hold a food product which is to be processed. The food cradle is attached on one end of a principal cutting arm and a handle is attached to the other end of the principal cutting arm. A secondary cutting arm is provided beneath and attaching to the principal cutting arm. A ram is provided on the end of the secondary cutting arm and positioned slightly behind the food cradle so that the rain trails the food cradle as the food gliding body travels back and forth across the cutting box. • Patent number: 7096771
Abstract: A cutter blade assembly that presents a sequential series of perpendicularly oriented cutting knife arrays which are attached to a frame. A first set of cutting knives is comprised of knives that are generally scalloped shaped. A second set of cutting knives is comprised of knives that are generally straight and are connected in general perpendicular orientation to the first set of strip knives. When a vegetable product such as a potato is forced through the cutter blade assembly, the first set of knives cuts the potato into a scalloped shaped slab. The second set of knives then cuts the slab into a scoop shaped potato piece emulating a portion of a cut stalk of celery.

  • Patent number: 6736041
Abstract: A cutting machine, for cutting vegetables into vegetable sticks, comprising a horizontal table having a feed end and an exit end. A belt extends vertically atop the table, around rollers which extend perpendicularly from the table. A plurality of cleats extend from the belt which have cleat fingers which extend horizontally outward from the belt. The cleats propel vegetables from the feed end toward the exit end. A horizontal blade assembly is disposed in the path of the cleats, and includes a plurality of horizontal blades which are vertically spaced to extend between the cleat fingers so that the blades do not interfere with the cleat fingers as they propel the vegetables. A vertical blade assembly is located farther toward the exit end than the horizontal blade assembly, and includes a plurality of vertical blades which cut the vegetables into sticks.

  • Patent number: 6725765
Abstract: An improved cutter blade assembly for cutting vegetable products such as potatoes. The cutter blade assembly utilizes a number of cutter blades that transverse an axial bore through which products to be cut are fed. These blades are locked within the assembly by an attachment system that partially deforms the blade to hold the blade in place. This improved attachment connection system serves to hold the blade in a position having higher tension and thereby reduces wear, chatter, and feathering.
