Abstract: A tool guiding device including a base frame and guiding rails arranged on the base frame so that they are parallel in relation to each other. At least one carriage having a machining tool is guided on the guiding rails in a linearly displaceable manner by a drive device with a carriage connecting element. The tool guiding device of this invention guides the tool in a precise, non-abrasive manner. Thus, the carriage is coupled to the carriage connection by a compensation device including at least one angle compensating element and at least one lateral compensating element.
Abstract: A combination slicer and toaster which is particularly suitable for slicing and toasting bagels and other similar food items, which comprises in combination a slicing section and a toasting section, such that a bagel, or other similar food item, is inserted into an opening slot in one end of the slicing section, wherein said bagel or other food item is forced into intimate contact with a slicing means located within the slicing section by the downward action of a plunger means located in rotational contact with the opening slot. Upon passing through the slicing section, the bagel is simultaneously deposited in the toasting section of the device, where the now sliced food item is toasted and, upon completion of the toasting operation, is elevated through an exit slot in the other end of the device.
Abstract: Automatic hollow punch search device and relevant control, for die-cutting machines, particularly for footwear production, in which a mobile head is associated to means to move it to and fro, both horizontally and vertically, above a fixed faceplate on which the material to be cut is placed, together with a hollow cutting punch. The movement means are automatically piloted by a drive circuit interlocked to manual starting means which provides means to carry out a complete head movement operating sequence from its positioning above the hollow punch to its lowering and return to the starting point after cutting.
Abstract: A cutting block or pad having a laminated construction, wherein the adjacent component layers or member elements are mechanically bonded to each other by layers of an electrically conductive adhesive, is disclosed. The block is particularly useful in connection with a clicking die and acts to complete an electrically conductive path as the die first contacts one broad opposing surface of the laminated structure. In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one and preferably two electrically conductive rods extend through the interior of the block, normal to the adhesive bonding layers, and each rod is bonded or secured in position by an electrically conductive adhesive material. Each rod thereby makes electrical contact to each adhesive layer, and the electrically conductive rods may also provide mechanical strength to the laminated structure.
