  • Patent number: 7066002
Abstract: A metal sheet punch device for metal sheets which includes a longitudinally extended frame having forward and rearward ends and alignment devices for aligning the frame on a metal sheet. At least two metal punch devices are mounted on the frame, each including a metal punch support structure movably mounted on the frame and a metal punch having a pointed lower end, the metal punch mounted on the underside of the metal punch support arm structure. A support structure drive device such as a coiled spring is operatively connected to the metal punch support structure to rapidly move the metal punch support structure between a retracted position and an extended position and a trigger device is operatively connected to the metal punch devices to trigger each of them to drive the metal punch into the metal sheet to form at least two securement screw indentations therein.

  • Patent number: 6513413
Abstract: A mold-pressing device including a seat body formed with a horizontal fissure at one end and a vertical chamber communicated with the fissure. A mold block is disposed in the chamber. One face of the mold block is disposed with a solid die, while the other face of the mold block is disposed with a channel passing through the mold block. A pressing lever is pivotally disposed in the channel of the mold block. A housing covers the seat body and is formed with a window for a pressing section of the pressing lever to extend therethrough. In use, a paper or a sheet is pushed into the fissure of the seat body and then the pressing section of the pressing lever is depressed, whereby a protuberance of the pressing lever is moved downward to force the mold block downward with the die punching the paper or the sheet placed in the fissure. Therefore, a product with a shape as that of the die is formed.

  • Patent number: 5988027
Abstract: A manually operated surgical steel rod cutter is disclosed. The rod cutter has a rod shearing tool head for cutting a rod when the rod is provided within aligned bores of two shearing subassemblies of the tool head. To cut the rod, an operator rotates an extendable handle to a substantially vertical position, inserts the rod in the tool head and rotates the handle to a substantially horizontal position. In order to increase the operator's shearing leverage, the handle can be extended from its retracted compact position by a linear pulling motion on a handle grip. The motion causes a handle extension that is adjacent and along the length of a first portion of the handle that has one end attached to the tool head, to extend from a sheath also attached to the first portion. The handle extension subsequently locks into an extended position when fully extended.

  • Patent number: 4004480
Abstract: A fluid piston actuated press is provided with a lever arm having multiple bearing means for transmitting and amplifying the force exerted by a piston to the movable parts of the press and work piece. A novel fulcrum bearing is provided which ensures that frictionally induced shearing forces are counteracted. This is achieved by allowing the bearing to reciprocate along an axis which is acute with respect to the stroke axis. Additional means are provided to adjust the degree of amplification and stroke of the movable part without altering the stroke of the fluid piston. A novel arrangement of component parts is described which allows easy accessibility to the work area and great flexibility of application.
