Abstract: A reciprocation pump has a supply liquid-side sub-pumping chamber and a waste liquid side sub-pumping chamber for containing and sending out liquid adapted to communicate with the supply liquid-side pumping chamber and with the waste liquid-side pumping chamber, respectively. The supply liquid-side sub-pumping chamber and the waste liquid-side sub-pumping chamber are interlocked with a reciprocation mechanism to vary their volume reversely to that of the volume variation of the supply liquid-side pumping chamber and the waste liquid-side pumping chamber, respectively. The reciprocating motion of the reciprocation mechanism enables the liquid to be supplied to the objective apparatus through the supply liquid-side pumping chamber and the supply liquid-side sub-pumping chamber. Also, it enables the waste liquid from the objective apparatus to be discharged to the outside through the waste liquid-side pumping chamber and the waste liquid-side sub-pumping chamber.

A flow controlling means 12 drives the selecting actuator 16 by a controlling hydraulic flow introduced from the hydraulic pressure source. Hydraulic pressure generating means 10,12 supply a hydraulic fluid discharged from the hydraulic pressure source into hydraulic chambers 15A,15B respectively, thereby carrying out a double action of the shifting actuator 15. A high hydraulic pressure is not supplied to the hydraulic chambers 15A,15B.

Abstract: A self-centering motor (16) includes a piston (130) which is disposed in a housing (112) and is movable in opposite directions from a centered condition. A pair of centering members (160 and 162) are disposed in the housing (112) to effect movement between the piston (130) and the housing toward the centered condition upon the occurrence of a predetermined condition, such as failure of a pump (44) to supply fluid under pressure. The members (160 and 162) which effect movement of the piston (130) to the centered condition are normally disposed in an overlapping relationship which enables the motor (16) to have a compact construction. In one embodiment of the invention, the members (160 and 162) which effect movement between the piston (130) and the housing (112) toward the centered condition include an inner centering member (162) and a cylindrical outer centering member (160) which extends around the inner centering member.

Abstract: A fluid pressure-operated actuator comprises a cylinder body containing a piston slidable therein, the piston defining respective chambers at opposite sides thereof. A rod projects from one side of the piston and extends through an end wall of the cylinder and a plunger is slidable on the rod and also extends through the end wall. The arrangement is such that the application of fluid pressure simultaneously to the chambers results in movement of the piston lengthwise of the rod, the piston movement including a first part during which the plunger applies force to the rod in addition to that arising on the piston, and a second part during which the force from the plunger is absent.

Abstract: A second pressure intensifying cylinder subchamber is employed for moving a pressure intensifying piston toward the other side, and the necessity for a control valve with a throttle is thereby eliminated. The pressure intensifying piston is incorporated integrally into a fluid cylinder, and, hence, the fluid cylinder can be installed in an even narrow space. A main cylinder chamber communicates with a pressure intensifying cylinder chamber in the interior of the fluid cylinder, and it is therefore possible to prevent such a situation that a high-pressure fluid sprouts out. A structure of the fluid cylinder is thus simplified enough to reduce the costs, and the safety is improved.
