Contact Liquid Inlet Valve Responsive To Float Level Patents (Class 96/249)
  • Patent number: 9121616
Abstract: A blower for use in a kitchen ventilation system includes a set of blades driven by a motor for moving air containing cooking byproducts from a surrounding area and separating out cooking byproducts. A housing at least partially encompasses the set of blades and captures the separated cooking byproducts. A tray engages with the housing, which includes a reservoir for accumulating the captured cooking byproducts, wherein the tray is separable from the housing to allow discarding of the accumulated cooking byproducts.

  • Patent number: 9028596
Abstract: A cascade-type device for intercepting and filtering oil fumes comprises an exhausting space formed between a housing and a filter and a cascading space formed between the filter and an external plate. A wind entrance communicated with the cascading space is formed between a lower portion of the external plate and the housing. The housing accommodates rinsing liquid whose height is higher than a bottom edge of the external plate. A negative pressure formed in the exhausting and the cascading space while drawing air allows the rinsing liquid blown by a wind pressure to hit the filter and generate water bloom for combining oil molecules of oil fumes. When the oil fumes further pass the filter, the oil molecules are adhered to the filter again and then scoured off by the water bloom, thereby attaining a dual-filtering effect and an automatic cleanliness of the filter and the housing.

  • Patent number: 7942387
Abstract: A system and method for managing water content in a fluid include a collection chamber for collecting water from the fluid with a desiccant, and a regeneration chamber for collecting water from the desiccant and transferring it to a second fluid. An evaporator cools the desiccant entering the collection chamber, and a condenser heats the desiccant entering the regeneration chamber. Diluted desiccant from the collection chamber is exchanged with concentrated desiccant from the regeneration chamber in such a way as to efficiently control the transfer of both mass and heat between the chambers. In one embodiment, mass is not exchanged until one or both of the desiccant levels in the chambers exceeds a predetermined level. Heat is transferred between the two desiccant flows as they are transferred between the chambers. This increases efficiency and reduces the energy input required for the evaporator and the condenser.

  • Patent number: 5908491
Abstract: An air cleaner for efficiently providing clean air for a structure is comprised of a housing having an intake port and an exhaust port. At least one air chamber having a liquid reservoir at its base is disposed within the housing. A fan draws air through the intake port and the air passes in turn through each liquid reservoir and then its air chamber and discharges the air through the exhaust port. A switch controls the fan and is turned off whenever the liquid level within the device is improper with the device having a flush valve for discharging exhaust liquid and a liquid fill valve for introduction of liquid.
