Abstract: A vehicle top mark including a base to be fixed to the body of a vehicle, a light-transmitting body that stands on the base, and a light source built into the base. The upper end of the light-transmitting body has an inclined surface that is inclined upward from the front side to the back side, so that the upward light, which passes through the light-transmitting body from the light source, is reflected to the back side of the light-transmitting body. The vehicle top mark is visible to the driver in the nighttime.
Abstract: A collapsible ornament according to the present invention includes a base fixed to an outer panel of a hood, and an ornament body having a hollow part formed by supporting a decorative laminated sheet and a hollow cylindrical shaft connected to the hollow part to hold the ornament body up. A coil spring is inserted into the hollow cylindrical shaft. The lower end of the spring is supported by a supporting body which is located at the bottom end of the hollow cylindrical shaft. In addition, a shaft member extends into the inside of the spring and its lower end is engaged with a hole formed in the base. An upper end of the shaft is coupled to the upper end of the spring.
Abstract: An aluminum die-cast base of the type having a sleeve-like extension is provided with anchor posts on which clips are fitted. The clips are adapted to resiliently deform for insertion into the attaching holes in a panel and then expand to grip the panel for thereby securing the base to the panel.
Abstract: A yieldable type ornament assembly has an ornament body member which includes a base section fixedly attached to a section of a vehicle body by fastening means and an ornamented section projecting from said base section outwardly of the vehicle body. The ornamented section is made of an elastic material so as to be elastically deformable when subjected to a force exceeding a predetermined value and restorable to its initial shape when said force disappears.
