Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a motorcycle tire for uneven ground travel for which the sticking of dirt to block grooves can be effectively prevented. Provided is a motorcycle tire for uneven ground travel in which a tread portion has a block pattern in which a plurality of blocks are provided. The blocks include, at the tread surface, at least one grooved block which has a block groove which is substantially C-shaped in plan view. The block groove has a pair of first groove portions that mutually extend in the same direction from the edge of the tread surface, and a second groove portion that links the first groove portions. The groove width W2 of the second groove portion is larger than the groove width W1 of the first groove portions, or the groove depth d2 of the second groove portion is larger than the groove depth d1 of the first groove portions.
Abstract: To provide a motorized two-wheeled vehicle tire for traveling on uneven terrain, the block durability performance of which has been improved; and a tire vulcanization mold capable of molding said tire. A motorized two-wheeled vehicle tire for traveling on uneven terrain wherein multiple blocks are provided on the tread at intervals in the tire circumference direction. Recesses are provided on the bottom surfaces of the grooves. Multiple recesses are provided at intervals in the axial direction of the tire. Spew, which was drawn up into the vent holes of the mold during vulcanization molding, or removal marks thereof are provided between each recess and the block that is adjacent in the tire circumference direction.
Abstract: A tire for vehicle wheels having a tread pattern includes: a) two circumferential grooves, which define a first and a second shoulder region, and one central region; b) a plurality of asymmetric transverse grooves having a substantially “V” shape, which extend for the whole width of the tread, including an alternate sequence of a first and a second asymmetric transverse groove defining an alternate sequence of a first and a second asymmetric module; and c) a plurality of lateral transverse grooves, which includes one first lateral transverse groove extending for the whole width of the first shoulder region and for a portion of the central region of the first asymmetric modules, and one second lateral transverse groove extending for the whole width of the second shoulder region and for a portion of the central region of the second asymmetric modules.
