Abstract: A cover structure which protects the contact pins of connectors which are installed, for example, in a motherboard of a mother circuit panel. More particularly, a removable protective cover for wire wrap pins which are installed in the mother board prevents these pins from bending and electrically shorting together and wherein the removability of the protective cover facilitates ready access to the wire wrap pins to enable installation of additional wire wraps in the field.
Abstract: A protective housing for an electrical device includes a base and a cover. The base has a mounting station for the electrical device, and the cover can be installed over the base with the electrical device received inside the cover. The cover has an open bottom which permits air to circulate inside the cover in order to dry any condensation which might form on the electrical device. The cover is made from an air and water impermeable material. Should flooding occur, air trapped within the cover prevents floodwater from rising into the cover, thereby protecting the electrical device from immersion.
Abstract: An organizer for securing a plurality of insulated electrical conductors such as PC interconnect and power cables. The organizer comprises a body constructed of a single piece of thin, flat, flexible fabric having a rectangular configuration with first and second end edges and first and second side edges. A fastening mechanism is attached to the side edges to bring them together as the body is wrapped around the cables. The fastening mechanism is preferably a zipper, straps or a hook and loop type fastener. One of more access apertures may be disposed in the body.
