Abstract: An ice cube dispenser tray capable of dispensing only a desired number of ice cubes into a glass or container without dropping of additional unwanted cubes from the tray, includes an elongate tray body having separate ice cube compartments aligned in succession along the length of the tray body, and a pair of compartment cover panels. Guide channels formed in the tray body enable the pair of cover panels to slide just above the ice cube compartments so that ice cubes can be dispensed out of the tray body only from those compartments that are exposed by movement of the cover panels. Ice cubes in compartments beneath the cover panels are blocked by the panels from falling free of the tray body.
Abstract: A container for making ice cubes having a generally prismatic hollow configuration, a front side of which includes rows of truncated pyramidal cavities, the back wall having mutually perpendicular stacking ribs for mating with the cavities of a juxtaposed container, and the top wall having a fill and emptying aperture closed by a screw cap or stopper. The container also has a fill marking on one of the sides and flow channels between the cavities.
Abstract: A container in which fresh water can be packed and from which if desired it can be poured or if frozen from which ice cubes of any particular shape can be removed. If the container is filled with uncontaminated water, uncontaminated ice cubes can be removed therefrom.
Abstract: A portable ice maker and container capable of utilizing available freezer space to provide additional ice-making capacity is disclosed. In one embodiment, the device includes a bucket-shaped vessel having a plurality of coiled strips arranged in a vertical stack with adjacent strips separated by a partition member, each coiled strip being in a horizontal position with the curvature of the coils arranged so as to be generally concentric with the central vertical axis of the vessel. A plurality of transverse ribs are attached at intervals along the length of each strip for use in defining the shape of the individual ice cubes.
