Abstract: An ink pad assembly having a top panel, the top panel having an ink pad coupled thereto, a bottom panel, and a pivotable hinge for connecting the top and bottom panels. The top panel of the ink pad assembly can be opened and pivoted 180 degrees about its central lengthwise axis. This pivotability allows a user to place the ink pad assembly in a position ready for use wherein the top panel lies on top of the bottom panel so that the ink pad is exposed. The pivotable hinge also allows the user to place the ink pad assembly in a closed position wherein the top panel lies on top of the bottom panel so that the ink pad is enclosed between the top and bottom panels.
Abstract: A stamp pad having a hinge plate between a body and a lid of the stamp pad. The hinge plate allows the lid to be rotated underneath the body of the stamp pad when the lid is in an open position. The hinge plate can be made of a flexible material to make installation of the lid easier and to reduce the likelihood of damaging the lid or the body after the hinge plate is installed.
Abstract: A fluid medium containing article for use in transferring an image onto a second article is provided. The fluid medium containing article includes a base and a fluid medium retaining pad positioned on the base. The base is generally in the shape of a terminal portion of a human extremity, such as a hand. A fluid medium is disposed on the pad. The user presses a hand onto the surface of the fluid retaining medium pad to form a thin layer of fluid medium on the surface of the hand and then presses the hand against a second object to transfer an image of the hand to the second article.
