Abstract: A double pipe for a heat exchanger includes an inner pipe disposed in an outer pipe. In a straight-pipe portion of the double pipe, the inner pipe has a plurality of protruding parts extending in a helically offset manner along a longitudinal direction, an inner-circumferential surface of the outer pipe directly contacts the protruding parts, and outer-side channels are partitioned at a plurality of locations in a circumferential direction of the double pipe. The protruding parts are curved to protrude radially outward. In a cross section of the straight-pipe portion orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, the inner-circumferential surface of the outer pipe is circular, and an average value of D/L values of all the outer-side channels is 0.09-0.20, wherein D is defined as a maximum depth of each of the outer-side channels and L is defined as an arc length of each of the outer-side channels in the circumferential direction.
Abstract: A system and method for forming an easily-erectable modular business cubicle is provided. The system/method involves the use of a rectangularly-shaped tile that has distinct connectors on each of its four sides. On one tile side is a single coupling connector and on the opposite is a multiple coupling connector. On the top is a connector comprising a plurality of elongated parallel grooves and on the bottom is a connector comprising a plurality of elongated parallel tongues corresponding to the top connector. These integrated connectors allow a plurality of these tiles to be releasably coupled to each other, both in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction. In addition, since no tools or separate connectors are required, a variety of cubicle styles can be easily formed and then later the cubicle can be dis-assembled or reconfigured into a new cubicle style. Tiles of different heights, but with the same connector configurations are also provided.
Abstract: One aspect relates to a process for preparing a shaped metal product, wherein a monolithic metal precursor surrounded by a sacrificial outer element is formed to smaller dimensions, and the sacrificial material is subsequently removed. One aspect further provides a composite for preparing a shaped metal product, and a shaped metal product. Such shaped metal products can be used to manufacture an active implantable medical device or sensor.

Abstract: A corner brace configured to support a tile-bearing panel includes a pair of transverse brackets, disposed at a transverse angle to one another and being configured to be disposed in a corner between the tile-bearing panel and another panel or a support surface. At least one of the brackets has at least two ribs, each of which extends from an inner base to an enlarged outer head. The at least two ribs form at least one mortar receiving channel therebetween which has an enlarged chamber and a narrower opening with respect to the enlarged chamber. The mortar receiving channel is configured to at least partially interlock with mortar applied between the panel and the bracket to aid in securing the panel to the corner brace and thus to the other panel or support surface.
