Abstract: A tool for scraping paint from surfaces having a blade and handle fastened to a tang end of the blade. The blade has symmetrical side edges extending forwardly and outwardly from the tang to angular outer corners and a V-shaped recess formed at the center of the blade between the outer corners. Central edges extend forwardly from an apex of the recess to inner corners. The central edges form an angle from 30.degree. to 60.degree. where they are joined at the apex. Middle edges extend outwardly and rearwardly from the inner corners to angles formed between the middle central edges and intermediate edges. The intermediate edges extend outwardly to the blade's outer corners at an angle perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the blade. The blade is particularly useful in removing paint from rough surfaces or paint that is unusually thick.
Abstract: A caulking tool is formed of a flat plate with first and second major surfaces and an edge surface. The tool has a rectangular section with two rounded corners, an intermediate section abutting the rectangular section, and first and second projections extending from the intermediate section. The first projection tapers to a straight tip and the second projection tapers in a curved manner to another tip that points at substantially a right angle away from the straight tip. At both projections, edges of the second surface extend beyond edges of the first major surface with the edge surface convex from the edge of the first major surface to the edge of the second major surface.
Abstract: An apparatus (20) for chance selection of indicia to be used in a game, contest or lottery is provided. Markers (24) of a material inherently capable of induced magnetism are stirred in a pouch (26) with a scraper (32) having a permanent magnet (42) therein. Those markers (28) adhering to the scraper when withdrawn from the pouch are noted. The process is continued until a sufficient quantity of indicia is noted. Preferred embodiments of the markers are spherical and discoidal in shape. The scraper can be used, independently, to remove coating over indicia on game cards, lottery tickets and the like.
