    Abstract: A ramp assembly for spanning between a first lower surface and a second relatively elevated upper surface defined by a structure has an elongated runner that is supported in an inclined orientation, wherein the runner extends between the upper and lowers surfaces at an angle relative to the lower surface, by a support member attached to the runner and having a first portion thereof configured for engaging the upper surface. The assembly further includes an adjustable retainer for releasably securing the plank in its oblique orientation, wherein the retainer is connectable between the runner and the structure.
