  • Patent number: 9393902
Abstract: A transparent illuminated display system, typically for use in automobile race events, including a highly flexible and transparent PCB board with ultra-low profile LED's mounted to it. The flexible and transparent PCB boards can be in the shape of a single or multiple numeric or alphanumeric displays. The face of the display which would make contact with the face of a wind screen would include an adhesive element. The transparent illuminated display is mounted to a vehicle as a kind of sticker on the inside or outside of a racecar windscreen, back window and/or side windows. Each of the displays could be wired to power and data lines and illuminate the required numbers or text to show the position and other info of the car in the race.

  • Patent number: 6364787
Abstract: A golf club wherein a redistribution of weight is provided to increase the moment of inertia but to decrease the swing weight of the club and thus allow increased velocity about the pivot point of the club when using the same energy input or swing, by means of a hollow tubular extension of one to six inches, preferably three to five inches, bearing a weight of 25 to 200 grams, preferably 50 to about 100 grams, at the end of the hollow tubular extension, which weight is thereby upwardly spaced from the gripping surface of the club so as to place the added weight in alignment with the vertical or longitudinal axis of the club shaft and behind the hands of the golfer during a swing, as well as such an extension comprising an adapter for converting a normal golf club to such a club.

  • Patent number: 6017606
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a reusable thermal pack that comprises a bag formed of a water-permeable fabric defining a plurality of laterally adjacent compartments, and a superabsorbent polymer disposed in the bag compartments, wherein the polymer forms a gel in the presence of an aqueous solution, and the bag compartments are gel-retainable. The thermal pack of the present invention can be applied as a cold or hot compress for medicinal purposes, and also as an aid for cooling down following exercise. The thermal pack of the present invention, once hydrated in the presence of the aqueous solution, becomes cool and stays cool for several days without refrigeration, and can be made cooler if chilled in the refrigerator or freezer, or warmed if placed in the microwave, if desired.
