Abstract: A lock assembly includes a casing, a pivotable member pivotally mounted in the casing, two linking rods each having a first end pivotally connected to the pivotable member and a second end, and two hook devices each including a first hook member and a second hook member. Each second hook member is pivotally mounted in the casing. The second end of each linking rod is pivotally connected to an associated second hook member. Each first hook member includes a first end pivotally connected to the second hook member. Each hook member further includes a hooked second end that is passable through an associated opening of the casing. When the pivotable member is pivoted, each first hook member is pivoted such that the hooked second end of each first hook member is moved between a retracted position in the casing and an extended position out of the casing.

Abstract: A color image processing provides a thin-line enhancement module for a color image for finding and keeping thin lines in the color image. A boundary enhancement module is provided for finding and keeping the boundary in the color image. A de-background module is provided for removing noise pixels from the white background. The color image is processed to avoid missing and/or twisting the thin lines, boundary, background, and texts in the color image after the scanning procedure.

Abstract: A luminescent extension is provided for connecting a box-ended wrench with a socket. The luminescent extension includes a cylinder, an upper tubular insert, a light assembly, a cover and a lower tubular insert. The upper tubular insert 11 extends from an upper end of the cylinder for releasable connection with the box-ended wrench. The light assembly is installed in the cylinder. The cover is rotationally mounted on the upper end of the cylinder between an OFF position for turning off the light assembly and an ON position for turning on the light assembly. The lower tubular insert extends from a lower end of the cylinder for releasable connection with the socket. Light can emit from the light assembly through the lower tubular insert.

Abstract: A hand exerciser includes a hollow sphere that has four openings and a cruciform member is supported in the sphere. Two handle disks and two massage disks are rotatably connected to four ends of the cruciform member and respectively engaged with the openings. A rod extends from a center of the cruciform member and a spring is mounted to the rod and a tube is rotatably mounted to the rod and biased by the spring. A weight is connected to a lateral rod extending from the tube. The eccentric force by the weight when the sphere is rotated applies a force to the hands holding the handle disks or the massage disks.

Abstract: A universal optical fiber plug includes a body, a neck formed on the body, a tube extending out from the neck and an annular sealing ring formed on the neck near the joint with the tube to correspond to the recesses in the socket. A blank plug has a blank plug body, a blank plug neck formed on the blank plug body, a blank plug tube extending out from the blank plug neck, and a sealing ring extending out radially from the blank plug neck. A cap is further formed at a joint of the blank plug body and the blank plug neck to prevent contamination of the filament inside the socket.

Abstract: A multiple power sources control system has several power input sides can switch a power source to other power sources of power input sides as original power source of one of power input sides has an abnormal phenomenon (such as no power supply, too low or high voltage and abnormal frequency, etc.) such that loads can keep obtaining supplied power. In addition, power of loads has better protection because of multiple input power supply.

Abstract: A wrench includes a substantially L-shaped rod and a casing. The L-shaped rod includes a first section and a second section, with a driving portion being formed on the second section for engaging with a fastener. The casing includes a receiving section for accommodating the first section of the rod and a positioning hole for rotatably receiving a portion of the second section of the rod. An engaging member is mounted in a receptacle of the casing and biased to press against the first section of the rod, thereby exerting an engaging force between the first section of the rod and the engaging member. When a rotational force applied to the casing is smaller than the engaging force, the rod is turned to hereby turn the fastener. When a rotational force applied to the casing is greater than the engaging force, the casing slides while the rod is not turned.

Guard quarters (266, 314) and a guard half (268) are held in a closed position by a single latch (325). The guard half (268) includes an idler (300) which tensions the belt (326) in the closed position. The second guard quarter (314) mounted upon a pivotable cover (306) together with the mount (262) for the motor (76) defines an enclosure for the rotary cutter (74) and abuts with the guard half (268) in their closed positions.

Abstract: A reflective mechanism for a stage lamp providing an incident light includes a mounting device, a rotary device, a rotary frame, a reflective device rotatably mounted to the rotary frame, and a transmission device. The rotary device is mounted to the mounting device and comprises a fixed outer ring, a middle ring concentrically, rotatably mounted in the fixed outer ring, and an inner ring concentrically, rotatably mounted in the middle ring. The inner ring and the middle ring are driven by a first power device and a second power device, respectively. The rotary frame is attached to the middle ring to turn therewith. The transmission device includes a first transmission member mounted to the inner ring to turn therewith and a second transmission member that is mounted to the reflective device to turn therewith and that is connected to the first transmission member.

Abstract: A replaceable golf club includes a primary rod, a secondary rod, an upper insertion tube inserted into a distal end of the primary rod, and a lower insertion tube inserted into a distal end of the secondary rod and combined with the upper insertion tube. Thus, the user only needs to carry one primary rod and thirteen secondary rods without having to carry thirteen golf clubs, thereby facilitating the user carrying the golf club, and thereby reducing the weight of the golf club.

Abstract: A cooling and isolating structure for an external casing of a hot air blowing gun and particularly the structure of the hot air blowing gun at the front end of its interior has a nozzle coupled to the inner barrel, with heating wires disposed inside the inner barrel. An embedded ring is disposed at one end of the nozzle, and a groove is disposed at a position corresponding to the inner side of the external casing of the hot air blowing gun. The insulating embedded plate can be disposed between the nozzle and the external casing of the hot air blowing gun to define an insulated and cooling isolating space to effectively isolate the heat conduction from the nozzle and to prevent the external casing of the hot air blowing gun from being overheated or partially deformed.

A first hole is defined through a center of each part and a sound generating member is received in the first hole. At least one second hole is defined in each part and located beside a designation member engaged with the part. A circuit board is received in the at least one second hole and electrically connected to the sound generating member. A conductive spring piece is located in the at least one second hole and a gap is defined between the circuit board and a main body of the conductive spring piece such that when pushing a button engaged with the at least one second hole, the conductive spring piece is lowered to touch the circuit board to generate a specific sound from the sound generating member.

Abstract: A chuck structure joins a headrest to a wheelchair. A chuck includes a joining hole at an upper end serving to install a supporting arm at two sides of the headrest. The lower end of the chuck includes two sidewalls, on the sidewalls being through holes, with the two sidewall forming a recessed space. Inside the recessed space is an arched end face. The recessed space of the chuck is aligned with and fixed to a bend of the armrest of the wheelchair. A positioning member between the through holes on the sidewalls presses against the bottom of the armrest bend. Two ends of the arched end face press against the upper end of the armrest bend, forming firm positioning effect by three points. The headrest installed on the chuck can be assembled or disassembled by tightening or loosening the positioning member.

Abstract: A method for forming a cavity in a handle of a ratchet type ring spanner includes providing a ring spanner having a handle and a head extending from the handle, forming a cutout on a face of the head, the cutout being communicated with a hole of the head, placing a cutter in the hole of the head, and moving the cutter toward the handle until a shaft of the cutter is stopped by a periphery defining the cutout, thereby forming a cavity in the handle. The cavity thus formed is larger than that formed by conventional methods. Thus, a larger pawl can be received in the larger cavity, which, in turn, increases the overall torque-bearing capacity of the ratchet type ring spanner.
