Abstract: A method for using a confidence based ranking algorithm is described. At least one search parameter is received. The at least one search parameter is used to identify at least one data record with confidence values. A results list with one or more data records is created. The results list is ordered according to the confidence values within the data records. The results list is sent.
Abstract: A method for providing personalized rewards to slot machine players may involve defining multiple player categories. The method may also involve providing player category rules. The method may also involve assigning slot machine players to the player categories based on the player category rules. During a gaming session on a slot machine, the method may involve identifying a current player on the slot machine and identifying a player category to which the current player is assigned. In response to detecting a triggering event involving the current player's activity on the slot machine, bonus credits may be awarded to the current player based on the player category that is assigned to the current player.
Abstract: A package deployment manager on an administrative system deploys a dependent software package to a plurality of target nodes. The package deployment manager also identifies one or more dependencies of the dependent software package. For each dependency that is identified, the package deployment manager determines which of the plurality of target nodes already have the dependency installed, and deploys the dependency only to the target nodes that do not already have the dependency installed.
Abstract: A method and system for authenticating credentials for management of a client is disclosed. The credentials are provided to a verification application. The credentials are authenticated to an authentication application. A connection between the authentication application and a security server is established. An authenticator is invoked. Administrative rights associated with the credentials are verified. An authentication certificate indicating the administrative rights is sent to the client.
Abstract: Macular pigments are measured by spectrally selective lipofuscin detection. Light from a light source that emits light at a selected range of wavelengths that overlap the absorption band of macular carotenoids is directed onto macular tissue of an eye for which macular pigment levels are to be measured. Emitted light is then collected from the macular tissue. The collected light is filtered so that the collected light includes lipofuscin emission from the macular tissue at an excitation wavelength that lies outside the macular pigment absorption range and outside the excitation range of interfering fluorophores. The collected light is quantified at each of a plurality of locations in the macular tissue and the macular pigment levels in the macular tissue are determined from the differing lipofuscin emission intensities in the macula and peripheral retina.

Abstract: A wireless communication device configured for reducing feedback overhead for multiple component carriers is described. The wireless communication device includes a processor and instructions stored in memory. The wireless communication device receives signals on a plurality of component carriers and determines at least one feedback value based on the signals. The wireless communication device also generates at least one reduced overhead feedback message for the plurality of component carriers based on the at least one feedback value and sends the at least one reduced overhead feedback message.

Color measurement data of a device is obtained. The color measurement data relates to a signal-to-color response of the device. A black generation transfer curve is designed constrained by the color measurement data of the device.

Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, an out-of-band management stack that is located on a managed node receives at least one management command from an out-of-band management application that is located on an administrative system. A monitoring agent on the managed node obtains the at least one management command. For example, the out-of-band management stack may forward the at least one management command to the monitoring agent. Alternatively, the out-of-band management stack may write the at least one management command to a designated location on the managed node, and the monitoring agent may read the at least one management command from the designated location. In response to obtaining the at least one management command, the monitoring agent processes and carries out the at least one management command.
Abstract: A method for inter relay interference coordination (IRIC) by a first relay node in a wireless communications system is described. A second relay node is communicated with over a relay interface. A first set of user equipment (UE) communication settings is received over the relay interface that correspond to the second relay node.
