  • Patent number: 7908354
Abstract: A method for managing multicast traffic in a data network, and devices using said method. The hosts store for each multicast group an included source record and an excluded source record, and the network interfaces of the hosts send to the router a message containing information about the included source record and information about the excluded source record. The router also stores for each multicast group an included source record and an excluded source record, and updates them when it receives through its network interface a message from the hosts containing information about an included source list and/or information about an excluded source list. The devices are a router, host equipment and network equipment compatible with the method.

  • Patent number: 7902476
Abstract: An ignition switch assembly connectable to a rotary shaft of a gas tap of a cooking device. The ignition switch assembly has a coupling element connectable to the rotary shaft of the gas tap, a fixed contact, a mobile contact, and a cam coupled to the coupling element which is configured to move the mobile contact relative to the fixed contact. The cam has a guide that is moveable within a groove of the switch assembly which controls the lateral displacement of the cam in relation to the coupling element so that the lateral displacement of the cam is controlled such that when the coupling element is rotated in a first direction, electrical contact between the mobile and fixed contacts is achievable, but when the coupling element is rotated in a second direction opposite the first direction the lateral displacement of the cam is controlled to prevent electrical contact between the mobile and fixed contacts.

  • Patent number: 7806683
Abstract: A safety valve supply circuit for the ignition of a gas burner is disclosed. Said safety valve is directly supplied by a flame-detecting thermocouple, and said supply circuit comprises a supply capacitor that is charged from an alternating mains voltage, obtaining from the energy accumulated in said supply capacitor, due to said charging, an input voltage signal that is used to temporarily supply said safety valve in order to maintain it open. Said charging of the supply capacitor is carried out by momentarily activating a supply switch to temporarily connect said supply capacitor to said alternating mains voltage, said supply switch activation occurring concurrently with the activation of the gas burner. Said supply circuit also comprises conditioning means for converting said input voltage signal into an output voltage signal that is directly applied to said safety valve to supply it, and so maintain it open.

  • Patent number: 7777044
Abstract: Process for the preparation of optically active derivatives of 2-(2-piridylmethylsulfinyl)-benzimidazole, or salts thereof, by resolution of the corresponding racemic derivatives of 2-(2-piridylmethylsulfinyl)-benzimidazole. The resolution is performed through the formation of inclusion complexes with (S)-(?) or (R)-(+)-[1,1?-Binaphthalene]-2,2?-diol in the presence of an amine, followed by the break of the inclusion complex by treatment with an hydroxide of an alkaline metal. The enantiomer of the derivative of 2-(2-piridylmethylsulfinyl)-benzimidazole may be obtained by extractions at a particular pH with a suitable organic solvent. The process allows to perform the resolution with high yields and high optical purity, without using neither toxic solvents nor chromatography.

Abstract: Cooking appliance (1A,1B) having an external and control panel (2,2?) equipped with one or more regulating valves, where the rotary regulator organ (6) is equipped with various peripheral openings (16-19) for supplying a flow Q. According to two embodiments (1A, 1B) of the cooking appliance, for the supply of one or another type of gas, NG or LPG, either the control knob (9) or a bezel disk (22) in the external panel (2) are interchangeable on the appliance, being chosen between two different available units, one and the other permitting two different angular position limits A2, A3 of the regulator organ (6) for the supply of a constant flow Qmin through one or another opening (18,19) with calibrated sections, respectively for NG or LP gas. An appendix (14) in the control knob (9) guided in a slide groove (20) on the control panel (2) of the appliance, or a tongue (24) on the bezel disk stopping the rotation of the control knob, determines the travel limit A2 for the supply of Qmin of NG.
