Abstract: A hand held retractable abrasive sharpener having a rod formed with a tapered end portion and a partially cylindrical opposite end portion. A part of the partially cylindrical opposition end portion is flat. A slot is formed in the rod. Substantially all of the outer surfaces include layers of the rod have an abrasive material. The rod is carried in a carrying case for transport and storage in a locked relationship and being capable of being released and withdrawn for sharpening with carrying case serving as a holder.
Abstract: A sidewall assembly for a trailer or van having a plurality of composite panels interconnected along the length of the trailer. The composite panels have a polyurethane core sandwiched between inner and outer metal panels in bonded relationship. The composite panels are affixed to a respective hat-shaped inner side post between adjacent vertical ends of the composite panels. A plurality of vertically arranged rivets affixes the composite panel to inner post and to an outer sidepost.
Abstract: An oval rod sharpener having an interrupted diamond abrasive surface having plurality of holes forming wells for collecting filings during sharpening. The abrasive surface is formed by multiple layers of micron sized diamonds, such as monocrystalline diamonds. A plastic pad is provided on the tip end of the oval abrasive rod to protect a support surface on which the sharpener rests during a sharpening operation.
Abstract: An assemlby for depressurizing an opened beverage bottle including a bottle closure having a valve to permit depressurization of the bottle by a removable pump assembly. The pump assembly includes a stretchable diaphragm having roller being moveable on tracks within a housing. A pivotal actuator stretches the diaphragm to cause expansion of diaphragm chamber and effect depressurization of the bottle through the closure valve.
Abstract: A locking electrical receptacle for receiving the spaced prongs of a male plug. The electrical receptacle has electrical contacts which engage a prong only when the prong is fully inserted in the receptacle. A locking ball is mounted for relative movement in an open slot of an moveable actuator. The open slot has a shallow section which biases the locking ball into the punched hole of the male prong.
Abstract: A flanged bushing top portion is applied to a sink or counter surface over a mounting hole with a skirt portion descending from the top portion of the flanged bushing in to the mounting hole. A tapered expansion sleeve is threaded into the skirt portion of the flanged bushing. As the tapered expansion sleeve is threaded upwards into the tapered skirt portion, the skirt expands and pressed against the inside diameter of the sink mounting hole thereby securing the flanged bushing to the sink surface. A faucet valve assembly, soap/lotion dispenser, or water dispenser is lowered into the bores of the flanged bushing and the expansion sleeve, and the valve's escutcheon collar is secured to the top of the flanged bushing by means of a lock down collar which is threaded onto the exterior threads of the flange of the flanged bushing. This secures the valve assembly, soap/lotion dispenser, or water dispenser to the flanged bushing and consequently to the sink.
Abstract: A passenger seat having a walk-over seat back mounted for movement on a pair of rotatable shafts through a pair of of levers mounted on each end of the shafts. The levers contact each other at opposite seat positions to support the seat back. The pair of shafts include a torsion section at each end portion capable of undergoing plastic deformation upon a lock mechanism detecting predetermined deceleration forces. A lever and link element are operatively connected between the seat cushion frame to permit movement. The seat cushion is removable secured to the seat cushion frame.
