Abstract: A dumping system for a kiln floor having a pnematic cylinder to cause a plurality of rows of tray assemblies to move between a closed postion and an open position. A harmonizing bar assembly is connected to the rows of tray assemblies and acts to synchronize movement of the tray assemblies and locks the tray assemblies in a fully clsoed or open position. The linkage between the pneumatic cylinder and the rows of tray assemblies includes a device to adjust the connection with the shaft supporting the tray assemblies.
Abstract: A railcar adapter for the side frame pedestal of the truck assembly for a railcar. The adapter creates a clearance with the inboard and outboard lugs of the pedestal side frame to permit lateral movement of the adapter relative to the side frame. Plugs of a solid lubricant are provided on the crown of the adapter to facilitate movement.
Abstract: A female receptor for locking a male plug and having an actuator element accessible from an exterior position. The actuator element comprises an elongated shaft having an area of reduced width to permit disengaging movement of internal balls mounted in the receptor body. The balls retain the prongs of the male plug in place when the area of reduced width of the rod is not aligned with the balls.
Abstract: A mulcher for shredding leaves and other vegetation having a plurality of pivoted plastic cutting blades. The material being shredded is introduced into an upper hopper having a plurality of spaced baffle plates. The hub supporting the cutting blades includes fan bldes for generating a flow through the mulcher to recirculate shredded material past the cutting blades for increased fineness of cut.
Abstract: A disposable diaper having a front section, rear section, crotch portion, and a wasit band. A soft padding is provided on the waist band. Padding is also provided on the edge portions surrounding the leg holes.
Abstract: A hanger bracket assembly for water pipes having a pair of telescopic bracket sections formed with end flanges for attachment to vertical spaced studs of a building under construction. The bracket sections have openings through which a water supply pipe may extend. A pair of plastic sleeve members have openings alignable with selected openings of the bracket sections for further support of the pipe section.
Abstract: A center beam/center partition flat car, cable/strap retention assembly and method for retaining a load to a center beam/center partition flat car. Cables or straps are respectively retained to a plurality of winches positioned along the opposite side sills of the flat cars. The cables or straps extend around the load from bottom to top and downward with their free ends being secured to the floor deck of the flat car at a position adjacent the respective winches.
Abstract: A light assembly having a magnetized base for attachment to a support surface. A reflector and an incandescent lamp are coupled to the magnetized base through a gooseneck and is maniputable to a wide range of lighting positions. The reflector includes cooling openings and a curved configuration to intensify lighting from the lamp. The magnet is positioned at the bottom of the base for maximum attraction to the support surface.
Abstract: A tray assembly for a germination floor assembly having a perforation tray sheet affixed to a rectangular frame assembly. The frame assembly includes a pair of parallel side members interconnected by a pair of end cross frame members. A plurality of longitudinal ribs extend parallel to the side members between the cross frame members. Reinforcing cross bars further extend between the side members and the longitudinal ribs. The cross frame members and reinforcing cross bars have a unique configuration to provide unimpeded flow of liquid wash through the tray assembly during cleaning. A tray assembly is attached to an adjacent tray by a bolt assembly. The tray assembly may be attached to supporting I-beams by hold down clamps. In one embodiment risers are employed for enhanced free flow of liquid wash during cleaning.

Abstract: A handle bracket retainer for retaining a handle to the socket of a plastic shovel, snow pusher, and the like without the need of the screws. The handle bracket retainer includes tapered body having a nearly semi-circular cross-section with opposed edges being tapered from end to end. A plurality of tabs and prongs permit a wooden handle to be retained in the socket of plastic tool.
Abstract: A germination floor system for a malt plant having a plurality of pivotally mounted tray assemblies movable between a horizontal position for supporting grain during germination and an approximate upright orientation to provide access beneath the floor for cleaning. The tray assemblies are capable of being manually movable to the cleaning position or, alternatively, may be fitted with a pneumatic cylinder and/or spring devices to facilitate movement. In the vertical cleaning position, the individual tray assemblies are fixed in position to prevent injury to personnel beneath the structure.
Abstract: Throttle cable control assemblies for carburetors for adjustably mounting the throttle (accelerator) cable on the carburetor. A bracket body is mounted on the carburetor and includes a projecting arm having a post. A clamp assembly frictionally engages the post and throttle cable. The clamp assembly is capable of being pivoted on and movable along the post for adjustment.
Abstract: A device for side-lighting a subject placed in front of a background as well as for lighting the background itself, for example when taking pictures of the subject by photography, cinematography or the like, consists of a series of reflecting panels attached to a solid or hollowed-out common central background wall or attached to each other around a free surface corresponding to the rear end-wall of the assembly. These reflecting panels are disposed in raised and inclined positions with respect to the background plane of the assembly in orientations such that said panels are capable of reflecting the light emitted by a front light source towards the subject to be photographed as well as towards the rear end-wall of the assembly, the assembly being of generally concave shape.
Abstract: A device for dispersing cool or warm air from a lower air conditioner/furnace duct. The cool air is transferred to an upper air distribution outlet to provide optimum cooling of a room. The device includes a self-contained powered fan to boost the velocity of cooling air upward to create the desired cooling efficiency. The device is attachable to a wall and may be assembled/disassembled for ease of installation, transport, and storage.
Abstract: A universal holding fixture with integrated templates for routing recess slots in doors for lock plates and door jambs for strike plates. The fixture includes a clamping mechanism allowing attachment to various widths of jambs and doors and is capable of compensation for irregularities and levels on the doors or jambs. The fixture provides two support bars to guide and control the router motor base for ease of operation and accurate control of recess depth. A depressible locating pin achieves accurate centering of lock plate with door lock bolt.
