Abstract: The present invention provides a novel circuit interrupting device capable of performing an automatic end-of-life test using a status test switch (KR-1), when the device is properly wired and the reset button is at a tripped state. The present invention is further characterized by its novel reset mechanism using a reset start switch (KR-4), a novel electrical connection between an input power end, an output power end, and a user accessible end to establish or discontinue electricity in the circuit interrupting device, and a novel test mechanism which uses a test button in connection with a rotatable lever to provide a dual test function to either test the components of the circuit interrupting device when the power is on and the reset button is at a reset state, or provide a mechanical trip when the reset button cannot be tripped by artificially generating an electric leakage current. Finally, the present invention provides a method to monitor the end-of-life of the device.

Abstract: The present invention provides oral pharmaceutical compositions for acetic acid class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), particularly ketorolac. The pharmaceutical composition contains a core, a drug layer (which comprises the drug, a binder, and a disintegrant), a protecting layer, and an enteric coating layer. The oral pharmaceutical compositons are particularly useful for treating patients with moderate to acute pain. The present invention also provides a method for making the pharmaceutical compositions and a method for using the pharmaceutical compositions.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for treating a mammal with immunological disorders, particularly autoimmune disease, and most preferably systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The method includes oral administration of germination activated Ganoderma lucidum spores (“GLSs”) to the mammal. Additionally, a corticosteroid, such as prednisolone, can be co-administered with the GLSs to the mammal to achieve synergistic effect of treatment.

Abstract: An adjustable automatic positioning hinge for a glass door has a doorframe bracket, a body, a spindle, a U-shaped male bracket and a U-shaped female bracket. The U-shaped male bracket and the U-shaped female bracket face and are attached to each other. The body is attached to the doorframe bracket, the U-shaped male bracket, the U-shaped female bracket and the spindle pivot relative to the body. A glass door is clamped between the U-shaped male bracket and the U-shaped female bracket. A spindle anchor hole is formed in central protrusion on the male bracket. The spindle has a first threaded hole and a second threaded hole radially formed in the spindle at an obtuse angle and setscrews screwed through the central protrusion into the first threaded hole and the second threaded hole hold and can be used to adjust the spindle.

Wherein, the window can be mounted detachably on the video display or formed integrally on the video display. The blind selectively winds onto or off the rolling device to open or cover the screen. When the blind covers the screen, the decorative shade protects and keeps dust off the video display. Furthermore, the window has a decorative appearance, and a picture on the blind imitates a piece of artwork. Thereby, the video display is changed into an artistic decoration.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the finding and detection of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) antigens in blood of infected individuals. The H. pylori antigens are components of H. pylori cells which include, but not limited to DNA, RNA, and fragments of nucleotides, proteins or peptides. H. pylori DNA, RNA, and fragments of nucleotides can be detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR), ligase chain reaction (LCR), or DNA hybridization methods or other amplification methods. H. pylori proteins or peptides or other antigenic components thereof can be detected by immunoassays or immunoblot using an antibody against H. pylori, preferably an antibody purified by an affinity column. The present invention further provides immunoassay methods, diagnostic kits, and an immunochromatographic assay device for detection of Helicobacter pylori antigens in serum samples.

Abstract: A four-stroke internal combustion engine includes a crankcase with a bottom, an oil pan and an oil spray generating assembly. The oil spray generating assembly having a closed sidewall, a valve, a bottom cap and nozzles is attached to the bottom of the crankcase and is enclosed by the oil pan. The closed sidewall is formed at the bottom of the crankcase to define a mist chamber enclosed by the bottom cap. The valve is mounted in the mist chamber with a valve port defined through the crankcase and a resilient valve flap corresponding to the valve port attached to the bottom of the crankcase. The nozzles are respectively mounted in the bottom cap out of the mist chamber inside the closed sidewall. The operation of the engine will produce an oil vapor for lubrication with the lubricating oil flowing out of the nozzles.

Based on the reflected signals, the detecting device judges if any passenger is near the door, and controls the closing/opening movements of the door to avoid any possible injury to passenger.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a non-gelatin hard capsule shell. The hard capsule shell is made by a heat-melting method which involves heating a capsule forming composition (preferably in powdery form) in a mold, followed by inserting a pestle into the mold to coat the melted capsule forming composition onto the pestle. The hard capsule shell thus formed, after hardened and dried, is removed from the pestle. This method has the advantages over the conventional “dip molding method” for not requiring the capsule forming composition to be pre-dissolved in solution so that no solvent is used in preparing the capsule forming composition. Also, by inserting a pestle into a mold, a pressure is imposed so as to ensure uniform coating of the capsule forming composition to the pestle. The present invention also provides a capsule forming composition which comprises a polymer and optionally a plasticizer and an apparatus for making the non-gelatin hard capsule shell.

The third terminal has a second immovable node, and the fourth terminal has a metal strip and a second movable node on the metal strip and electrically connected with the second immovable node. A linkage transversally extends between the metal strip and the bimetallic strip. Abstract: A method for producing a golf club head includes preparing at least two wax models for the golf club head; combining the at least two wax models; coating the combined wax models with a layer of sand mortar to form a sand mortar mold; removing the wax from the sand mortar mold; pouring molten liquid into the sand mortar mold; breaking the sand mortar mold to leave a metal golf club head. The metal golf club head is further cut off any surplus metal and polished to complete a one-piece metal golf club head.
