  • Patent number: 7240311
Abstract: An equivalence checking method provides first and second logic functions. Don't care gates are inserted for don't care conditions in the first and second logic functions. The insertion of the don't care gates creates a first intermediate circuit and a second intermediate circuit. All 3DC gates of the first intermediate circuit are propagated and merged into a single 3DC gate when 3DC gates and SDC gates coexist in either of the first and second intermediate circuits. All 3DC gates of the second intermediate circuit are propagated and merged into a single 3DC gate when 3DC gates and SDC gates coexist in either of the first and second intermediate circuits. First and second circuit are produced in response to propagating and merging the 3DC gates. A combinational equivalence check is then performed of the first circuit to the second circuit under different equivalence relations.

  • Patent number: 7230864
Abstract: A circuit for generating a data strobe signal of a semiconductor memory device comprises a plurality of internal clock delay units, a selecting control unit and a pulse generating unit. The plurality of internal clock delay units delay an internal clock signal in response to a plurality of CAS latency signal. The selecting control unit logically combines a data latch control signal to latch input data with output signals from the plurality of internal clock delay units. The pulse generating unit generates the data strobe signal having a predetermined pulse in response to an output signal from the selecting control unit. In the circuit, a tDQSS margin is regulated depending on change of tCK of an operating frequency in response to a CAS latency signal.

  • Patent number: 7231472
Abstract: An input/output byte control device using a nonvolatile ferroelectric register can maintain compatibility with various memories by selectively controlling bytes of input/output data. Since bytes of input/output data are selectively activated, the compatibility can be maintained with SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) having wide bytes and flash memory having fixed input/output bytes. Additionally, programs can be changed in a software system using a nonvolatile ferroelectric register.
