Abstract: The process of fabricating a laminate, or series of attached laminates, with internalized matrix of fabric. The uses of such a process are to mask discolored, chipped, jumbled and spaced teeth with an ultra-thin, fabric based laminate which would require virtually no tooth reduction. Additional uses of fabric-encased laminates: missing teeth can be replaced with a chain of fabric laminates and pontics, loose teeth can be splinted with a fabric chain and missing teeth can be provisionally replaced with a pontic laminate attached to fabric, wherein the laminate is constructed of porcelain or composite and the internalized grid is made of fabric, such as polyester.
Abstract: A color coded band, adapted to be mounted on the arm of a patient. The band has a highly visible color code to indicate a certain care alert condition. The band is of synthetic paper and has adhesive on at least one end. The bands may be computer processed by mounting them on a length of pin feed computer paper. Charts for the color coded alert condition arm bands are provided. The charts have a list of care conditions which require early warning. A colored flag is mounted on the chart, one flag being mounted for each condition listed, all of the flags being of different colors. Charts may be mounted in convenient places for persons providing care to patients so that they can interpret corresponding color coded arm bands on the patients.
Abstract: In a conventional TV, audio or other equipment having a speaker(s) and a source of power. A smoke detector is mounted inside the TV case, the output of the smoke detector being connected to the TV speaker and a power supply connected to the TV source of power, the output of said power supply being connected to the smoke detector, the smoke detector and power supply being packaged together and installed inside the case of the TV. A second oscillator may be added to thereby emit at least four frequencies because of the hetrodyning of the two oscillators.
Abstract: Ice Detector for Protecting Boats has a waterproof hollow float. An electro-magnet is mounted in the float. A flexible arm is rigidly mounted on one side of said float. A first metal segment is mounted in the arm and placed to be attracted by the magnet. A metal detector is mounted in the float. A second metal segment is mounted in the arm and placed to come into closer proximity to the detector when the arm flexes, whereby, ice forming between the wall of the float and the arm will prevent movement of the arm and will detect the formation of ice.

A rotary electric switch is connected to the socket and mounted on the vertical member. An operating ring is connected to the switch, the ring encircling the vertical support member, whereby the switch may be operated from any point on its periphery and is easy to find and operate.
Abstract: A holder for barrettes. A length of braided hair looped through a mounting ring and an elastic band mounted on the end of said braided hair to hold the loose ends together.
Abstract: Educational apparatus for use with an overhead projector has a transparent grid with horizontal and vertical indices for projecting a grid onto a wall screen. A plurality of removable cover pieces, keyed to the grid, cover up grid segments whereby when the transparent grid has pictorial material a student, or player, may project a particular grid segment by picking up the cover piece on that segment.
Abstract: A process of applying a temporary diagnostic, consultative restoration to teeth to demonstrate to the patient how the restoration will look after it is finished, comprising the steps of , applying color to the wax cover, which may include sticks, ropes or cakes of wax, applying a wax cover to the teeth, carving the wax to the desired shape, applying a petroleum or acrylic cover to the wax to create a shine like real teeth. The material includes a predetermined amount of soft wax of predetermined color to cover one or more teeth, applied to the teeth, and a petroleum or acrylic base cover applied to the wax to make the restoration shine like natural teeth.
Abstract: The process of reshaping a tooth comprising the steps of: applying Silane to a fabric bonding, applying the fabric to the tooth, bonding the fabric to the tooth, sculpting the bonded material, polishing and finishing the bonded material, wherein the fabric or cloth is silk or nylon, or other cloth.
Abstract: Pin register vacuum systems. A vacuum holder for holding film in a camera. Two pins are located near one end of the holder to locate film having corresponding holes. A first spring is mounted on one side of the holder. A second spring is mounted on one end of the holder. Vacuum is applied to hold the film flat in the holder. A vacuum register glass carrier for the enlarger and a vacuum register platen for enlarging are provided.

Abstract: Boat davit for mounting on a bulkhead. A right angle plate has two perpendicular portions, one vertical and one horizontal, the horizontal portion having holes to permit bolting to a bulkhead. A first straight pipe is affixed to the vertical portion of said plate. A second pipe is mounted on the first pipe for vertical movement, the upper portion of the second pipe being bent at an angle of approximately 45.degree.. A first pulley is mounted at the upper end of the second pipe and a second pulley is mounted on the second pipe just above the bend in the pipe. A rope is mounted the pulleys. A weight is connected to one end of the rope, the othe end of the rope being adapted to be connected to a boat, whereby the boat will be held away from the bulkhead and will rise and fall with the tide.

Abstract: A cage has a rectangular bottom member and four side members. Four top members each having a truncated triangular shape are connected to the top frame. A top locking member is connected to the truncated triangular members to hold them in place when they are rotated into up position whereby the top panels can be folded down against the inside of the side panels to permit easy cleaning of the cage folded flat for shipping.
Abstract: In a camera of the flat bed type having a base, the camera being focused by looking at ground glass back viewing screen supported on a frame which is movable for focusing; means are provided to adjust the frame to simultaneously move the frame forward and backwards, sideways and rotatably for focusing the camera, and means are provided to lock the frame in position when the camera is focused. This invention combines four movements for the back of a folding type or flat bed camera. 1. A rising back, 2. shifting from side to side, 3. lateral swing and 4. tilting toward front or back. All these movements are achieved without using a center pivoting point. Doing it in a continuous working procedure, efficiently and with ease of movement with positive locking. The locking of the vertical movement clamping is accomplished on the sliding member and pivoting on the bottom axis. Means are provided for pivoting from either left or right side with its clamping means when camera is in focus.
