  • Patent number: 6024076
Abstract: An archery bow includes pivoting limb pockets for attaching two split limbs or a single limb to the bow handle. The limb pockets are secured to the handle by an adjustment bolt. Circular mating portions on the pocket and handle permit rotation of the pocket about the handle. A slug which is press-fitted in the handle provides lateral stability between the pocket and handle. The front wall of the pocket prevents limb movement in the axial direction and the top surface of the pocket limits upward movement.

  • Patent number: 5924345
Abstract: A method for precisely perforating an opening in footwear by positioning the footwear on a foot form with the outsole facing upward, supporting the vamp area of the footwear by a V-shaped support, clamping the rear section of the footwear to stabilize the footwear and moving the footwear upwardly against the die under pressure so that an opening is perforated in the heel area of the footwear. The apparatus includes a shuttle member on which the foot form, the V-shaped support and the clamp are carried. The clamp is activated when the shuttle is moved to contact a limit switch. The footwear is caused to be moved upwardly against the die under pressure upon the operator activating a switch.

  • Patent number: 5894835
Abstract: The method of the present invention comprises inserting a moldable slug having a plurality of longitudinally oriented resin impregnated predominantly glass fiber filaments into a bow limb profiling mold. The mold consists of two halves, the first half containing two female cavities and a second half having two matching fitted male sections. Each cavity receives a predetermined volume and weight of continuous longitudinal fibrous reinforcement material and plastic resin matrix material. Heat and pressure are applied during initial curing and the uncured end is removed. The slug is then finally cured.

  • Patent number: 5890480
Abstract: A cam is eccentrically journaled at one end of a compound archery bow and a pulley is journaled at the other end of the bow. A cable passes around the pulley to form a bowstring section and a second cable section, both sections forming a dual feed single cam compound bow. The amount of feed out to both ends of the bowstring is approximately the same. One embodiment of the cam provides a large radius cam groove and a smaller radius cam groove which are designed to synchronize the rate of cable feed out at both ends of the bowstring section during the drawing operation. An anchor cable is provided to tie the two limbs of the bow together during the flexing of the bow.
