  • Patent number: 6856516
Abstract: A resistor-capacitor network for terminating transmission lines. The network includes a core of dielectric material. Capacitors are formed within the core from spaced apart electrode plates. Terminals extend from the electrode plates to a top surface of the core. The electrode plates are oriented perpendicular to the top surface. Ball pads are located on the top surface. Resistors are located on the top surface and are connected between the ball pads and terminals. Conductive spheres are attached to the ball pads.

  • Patent number: 6833654
Abstract: A crystal package that contains two or more crystals that resonate at differing frequencies. The crystal package has a substrate with a top surface, a bottom surface, and side surfaces. A cavity is located in the top surface. A pair of steps are located in the cavity. A crystal is mounted to one of the steps and extends over the cavity. Another crystal is mounted to the other step and extends over the first crystal. The steps are at different heights above the bottom surface. Electronic circuitry may also be mounted within the crystal package.

  • Patent number: 6809512
Abstract: A pedal and sensor assembly for mounting to a vehicle. The assembly has a pedal arm having a first end and a second end. A magnetic field generator is connected to the second end to generate a variable magnetic field as the pedal moves. A housing is attached to the vehicle and has the second end and the magnetic field generator contained therein. A magnetic field sensor is located adjacent to the magnetic field generator and detects the variable magnetic field such that as the pedal arm rotates the magnetic field sensor generates an electrical signal proportional to the strength of the variable magnetic field and that is indicative of the position of the pedal arm.

  • Patent number: 6776056
Abstract: A seat belt tension sensor for measuring the magnitude of tension in a seat belt. The seat belt tension sensor has a housing with a cavity. An anchor plate has a portion located in the cavity. The housing moves relative to the anchor plate between a first position and a second position. A sensor is mounted to the housing. The housing presses on the sensor as the housing moves from the first to the second position. The sensor generates an electrical signal in response to the housing moving between the first and second positions. The electrical signal changes as a function of tension on the seat belt. The sensor is a strain gage. The housing engages the anchor plate in the second position to protect the sensor from damage in a vehicle crash situation.
