Abstract: A domestic appliance comprising at least one housing part with a detent element and at least one second housing part with a detent counter-element. Said elements are designed to interconnect the housing parts and are associated with a locking element, which is used to secure the detent elements, when the locking element is in the locked position, from becoming detached from the detent counter-elements. The aim of the invention is to facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the detent device. To achieve this, the locking element comprises a first end that is supported on one of the housing parts and a second end that engages with the detent element in the locked position. The locking element can thus be pivoted back and forth in a simple manner between a release position and a locked position, facilitating a more rapid, simpler assembly and disassembly.

Abstract: A cooking compartment door of a cooking oven having a pyrolysis function in the cooking compartment, includes a borosilicate glass pane forming at least a portion of the cooking compartment door. The borosilicate glass pane is provided at least in sections with a colored layer. The colored layer provides impact resistance to the borosilicate glass pane by being applied to the surface of the borosilicate glass pane on the side opposite the cooking compartment. The colored layer is resistant to temperatures up to four hundred degrees Celsius and is not joined to the borosilicate glass pane surface by melting.

Abstract: A motorized kitchen appliance provides a resilient fixation of a drive unit, surrounded by an outer wall, within a housing of the kitchen appliance. The drive unit is resiliently mounted in the housing through the use of projections and is fixed therein in the manner of a bayonet fitting.

Abstract: A drive unit for a food slicer has a housing and a bearing plate inside the housing. The bearing plate carries a transmission which transfers the rotation of a drive motor coupled to the mechanism to a circular blade that is rotatably mounted in a first bearing. The bearing plate has the first bearing for the circular blade, and the housing is provided with an opening through which the first bearing can be accessed from outside the housing. The slicer has the advantage of being especially quiet.

Abstract: In an anti-crease operation incorporated after the program sections wash and spin to loosen laundry in the drum, the user should be offered the possibility of being able to actively influence this operation. For selecting the adjustable parameters for the duration and sequence of the anti-crease program the user is supported by a display and can depart upward or downward from predetermined values dependent on type or textile and loading after checking for compatibility. The detachment of the laundry ring at the inner wall of the drum can be monitored by measuring valid variables of state as a criterion for loosened and disentangled laundry at the beginning of the anti-crease operation in the reversing phases and comparing these with desired data which were determined in a short analysis section installed before the beginning of the actual wash program. As a result, errors in identifying a laundry ring can be largely avoided.

Abstract: A cooking appliance and a method of controlling the cooking process in the cooking appliance. The cooking appliance includes a heating device, especially for grilling. To improve the browning process of food in the cooking appliance the radiation time of the cooking appliance is increased. The time is increased by a temporary cooling-down phase where the temperature is reduced, that is initiated by opening the cooking appliance door, for example, to turn the food being browned. The cooking appliance then increases the temperature again over a subsequent heating-up phase initiated by closing the cooking appliance door.

Abstract: A cooling appliance (1) with circulated air cooling, comprising at least one cooling chamber (2) for reception of stock (3) to be cooled, at least one channel (4) for cooling air (5) and a coldness generator (12) for generating cooling air (5), wherein the channel (4) provides a fluid-conducting connection of the coldness generator (12) with the cooling chamber (2) and opens into the cooling chamber (2) by an outlet opening (6), wherein a jet forming means (7) is provided and wherein the jet forming means (7) is formed by a nozzle element (18) and/or by a spacer (10), by which the stock (3) to be cooled is kept at a spacing from the outlet opening (6), at the outlet opening (6). A precise, uniform and energy-saving temperature conditioning of the stock (3), which is to be cooled, in the cooling chamber (2) is made possible by the invention.

Abstract: A removable dust collector for use in a dust compartment of a vacuum cleaner is provided and includes a holder that maintains the dust collector in an operating position, and a locking member that is placed in a locking position when the dust collector is removed. A cover of the dust compartment is prevented from closing and is placed in a release position when the dust collector is in an operating position. The locking member is maintained in its release position either by means of a filter bag inserted into a carrier or by an actuating member associated with the dust collector.

Abstract: A household appliance door, which is mounted in a manner that enables it to pivot about a joint axis, has a door handle that can pivot about a door handle axis running parallel to the joint axis. At least one controlling mechanism is associated with the door handle. When the door executes a pivotal movement in a first pivoting direction, the controlling mechanism pivots the door handle in a second pivoting direction opposite the first pivoting direction, as such, reliable actuation of the door handle is achieved. The door handle is pivotally mounted in a bearing housing and the bearing housing extends in an axial direction along the entire door.

The rotary selector (1) has mutually communicating catch devices and a plate arranged at a distance thereto with a rotary field sensor acording to Hall technology, whereby spring-loaded ball lockings enable defined and switchable rotation of an operating element (2) with magnetic device in ranges up to 360°, and whereby angle-dependent variables for control of a wide range of cycles are generated in a known manner in the rotary field sensor.
