Abstract: An improved encasement for a mattress which thwarts the escapement of bed bugs from a mattress through the encasement and which thwarts the encroachment of beg bugs through the encasement into the mattress. An elongated opening is provided in the encasement which is selectively closed by a zipper associated therewith. The encasement includes a flap secured to the lower side wall portion of a side of the encasement which is positioned inwardly of the zipper for retarding or preventing the escapement of bed bugs through the zipper. Hook and loop fasteners are also provided at the end location for further preventing the escapement of bed bugs from the mattress through the encasement and preventing the encroachment of beg bugs into the mattress through the encasement.

Abstract: A trailer including a cargo carrier is provided. The cargo carrier may be secured to the rear of the trailer to increase the carrying capacity of the trailer. The cargo carrier may also be used independently of the trailer. The trailer may be positioned in a vertically disposed position for transport or storage.

Abstract: A portable work station including a main housing, a fan and motor housing, transition housing and an exhaust housing with the housings being selectively removably secured together rather than being welded as in the prior art. The work station includes a ballast compartment in the main housing into which ballast material may be placed to stabilize the work station. The work station includes supports for the framework of a drape assembly with the supports being selectively removably secured to the main housing.

Abstract: A device is described for opening and closing the discharge door of a bulk seed box. The device comprises a portable lightweight structure which is attached to the box and which uses an electrically operated screw actuator to move the discharge door of the box from its closed position to its open position and vice versa. The device also includes a spreader mechanism which relieves the stress or tension on the supporting slide or track for the discharge door so that the discharge door may be more easily opened and closed.

Abstract: An adapter, and the method of using the same, is disclosed for converting a oxy-fuel cutting torch to an exothermic or air lance cutting torch. The oxy-fuel cutting torch is converted by removing the torch tip therefrom and by substituting a two-piece, adapter which enables one end of a burning bar to be inserted therein and securely positioned therein. Two different embodiments of the adapter are disclosed.

Abstract: An improved saddle assembly for a side-dump trailer or truck wherein the saddle assemblies have saddle supports which are located directly above the frame members of the wheeled frame of the side-dump vehicle. The saddle supports receive the pivot pins of the side-dump body with the loads imposed thereon being transferred to the frame members of the wheeled frame of the side-dump body.

Abstract: A grain auger mover assembly is disclosed which may be used to move either a conventional grain auger or a grain auger having a swing hopper auger associated therewith. The grain auger mover of this invention is remotely controlled.

Abstract: A concrete screed apparatus is provided which may be used by a pair of workers, each of whom has the screed apparatus mounted to one of their legs or feet. The screed apparatus enables concrete to be easily screeded and properly finished without the workers doing the same on their knees or bending from the waist. The screed apparatus is adapted to move a screed board back and forth across the concrete to be finished which is also vibrated as it is being screeded.

Abstract: A wheeled vehicle such as a truck or trailer is disclosed including an apparatus thereon which may be connected to a recycle container so that the recycle container may be lifted from the ground onto the vehicle and then transported to a processing site. Once at the processing site, the apparatus causes the refuse container to be pivotally moved with respect to the vehicle so that the contents of the container are dumped from the container without the removal of the container from the vehicle.

Abstract: A side dump truck or trailer comprising a wheeled frame having a plurality of side dump bodies pivotally mounted thereon which may be individually moved from a transport position to a side dumping position. Once the side dump body is in its dumping position, the side dump body may be moved somewhat upwardly and inwardly away from the pile of material which has been dumped at one side of the truck or trailer.

Abstract: A dog feeder and dog waterer is provided wherein the dog feeder and dog waterer may be moved individually from operative positions to stored positions and which may be detachably secured together when in their stored or transport positions to enable the feeder and waterer to be carried as a unit and to add stability of the same during transport or storage.
