Abstract: A docking station for use with a liquid container which supports the container in a convenient fixed location. The docking station is designed to accept a liquid container having a predetermined height and diameter. The docking station includes a cam operated actuator which is movable between an upper “open” position to a lower “closed” position. When the actuator is moved to its lower closed position, the actuator opens a valve in the liquid container to permit liquid to be drawn from the container. When the actuator is in its upper position, the valve in the container is closed. A manually controlled dispenser is mounted on the upper end of the docking station which is in communication with a source of water under pressure and the liquid being drawn from the container so as to mix the same and to dispense the same.

Abstract: A dosing and/or dispensing system for use with an inverted liquid container such as a bottle or the like for dosing and/or dispensing liquid contents from the bottle. The system includes an improved venting device to ensure that the liquid is dosed or dispensed properly and accurately drains; and an anti-drip valve is provided to prevent liquid from dripping from the discharge end of the dosing bowl of the system.

Abstract: A wall extension apparatus is movably positioned on the upper end of a side dump body to increase the carrying capacity thereof. The extension apparatus may be pivotally moved from a transport position to either a first side dumping position to a second side dumping position. When in its transport position, the extension apparatus extends upwardly from the upper ends of the side dump body. Various embodiments of the invention are disclosed.

Abstract: A mobile soil sampling device is mounted on the side of a vehicle such as an ATV or UTV and includes an upstanding frame member which is vertically movable with respect to the vehicle by means of a parallel arm linkage and actuator. A vertically disposed and rotatable auger is mounted on the frame member and is moved upwardly and downwardly with respect thereto through the use of a motor and pinion gear with the pinion gear engaging a gear rack on the frame member. The auger is rotated so as to dig into the ground to the desired depth with the soil sample being conveyed upwardly into a vacuum collection chamber with the soil sample being conveyed to a vacuum chamber mounted on the vehicle. A sample collection device is mounted beneath the vacuum chamber for receiving the desired soil samples. An auger flute cleaning apparatus is mounted on the device to remove soil from the flutes of the auger as the auger is raised from a soil penetration position.

Abstract: A dosing and/or dispensing system for use with a liquid container such as an inverted. bottle or the like for dosing and/or dispensing liquid contents from the bottle. The system includes a throat plug assembly, wherein the throat plug assembly includes a normally closed, vertically movable first valve therein; a mounting ring having an inner face including threads thereon adapted to threadably receive the throat of the container; a knob having an actuator rod, wherein the actuator rod includes second and third vertically spaced valves mounted thereon for movement; and an improved venting device to ensure that the liquid is dosed or dispensed properly and accurately drains.

Abstract: A metal stud for use in a metal building wherein the studs are secured to horizontally extending and vertically spaced-apart girts which are either C-shaped or Z-shaped. A metal stud is generally C-shaped and includes a base wall portion and opposite side wall portions with upper and lower ends. The lower ends of the side wall portions each have slot formed therein wherein which are adapted to receive a wall portion and flange of a girt. The upper end of the stud has a tab which extends upwardly therefrom to enable the tab to be secured to a girt. The stud may also be used in the roof system of the building.

Abstract: A centrifuge tube assembly comprising an elongated vial having an open upper end and a closed lower end with a lid mounted on the upper end thereof. The lid has a central opening formed therein which rotatably receives an elongated inner tube extending downwardly into the vial with the bottom of the inner tube being received by an upstanding bottom tube. The lower end of the inner tube has a pair of vertically spaced-apart upper and lower ports. The bottom tube has a pair of upper and lower ports formed therein which are radially offset with respect to one another. A tube actuator is secured to the upper end of the inner tube to facilitate the rotation of the inner tube between first and second positions. When the inner tube is in its first position, the lower ports of the inner tube and bottom tube are in register. When the tube actuator is in its second position, the upper ports of the inner tube and the bottom tube are in register.

The driver of the snowplow vehicle may steer the vehicle with his/her left hand and will have the remote controller for the truck snowplow and the remote controller for shifting the gears of the snowplow truck in his/her right hand which eliminates the need for the gear shift of the vehicle to be manually manipulated at the beginning or end of forward or rearward snowplow runs.

More particularly, this invention relates to an over-sized box-like container of the type described where the box itself, upon being disassembled, may be used to create one or more pieces of furniture.

Abstract: A medication dispenser including a container having a bottom, first and second upstanding sidewalls and first and second upstanding end walls with the container or liners positioned therein defining a plurality of open topped medication compartments. A plurality of compartment covers overlie and close the compartments to maintain medication within the compartments. Each of the covers has an outwardly extending tab or extension which assists in the opening of the cover. The upper ends of the sidewalls of the container are provided with a plurality of spaced-apart protrusions which extend outwardly from the associated sidewall beyond the outer ends of the tabs on the covers to shield the tabs to prevent inadvertent opening of the covers.

Abstract: The side dump trailer including a side dump body pivotally mounted on a wheeled frame and which is pivotally moveable between a transport position to at least one side dumping position. A body stiffening structure assembly is secured to the exterior surface of the side dump body and is comprised of two or more body stiffening structures welded to the exterior surface of the side dump body in a spaced-apart relationship. The body stiffening structures include elongated stiffening rails secured thereto and extending therebetween which are also welded to the side walls of the side dump body.

Abstract: A linkage-type air suspension system for supporting either a front steer axle or a rear drive axle includes a lower structure assembly which combines the lower control rods, a transverse rod and a stabilizer control system which functions as a single structure. The transverse control system includes a pair of lower beams which have one end thereof pivotally connected to mounting brackets secured to the frame members of the vehicle by pivot bearings. The other ends of the lower beams are pivotally connected to axle and wheel supports. A transverse control is secured to and extends between the lower beams.

Abstract: A concrete foundation is described which is adapted to be embedded in the ground for supporting a pole thereon. The foundation is comprised of a vertically disposed central section having upper and lower ends with a base section embracing the lower end of the central section and being wedged thereagainst to anchor the central section in the ground. If additional weight is needed, one or more base sections may be stacked on top of the lowermost base section.

Abstract: A flotation drive wheel is provided for a self-propelled irrigation system such as a center pivot irrigation system, a linear irrigation system or a corner irrigation system. The flotation drive wheel of this invention comprises a hub portion which is directly attached to an associated gearbox of the conventional drive tower. A metal band or plate is welded to the outer periphery of the hub portion of the wheel with a plurality of pivotal flotation shoes being attached to the band or plate. The pivotal shoes include structure for preventing soil from being pushed laterally of the flotation wheel and from being pushed forwardly from the drive wheel. The flotation wheel of this invention substantially eliminates the creation of wheel ruts or tracks.
