Abstract: A bipod rifle support which may be incorporated into the stock of the rifle itself or which may be incorporated into a body member which is attachable to the forward end of the rifle stock. Support legs are normally stowed within the elongated bores with the same being removable therefrom and inserted into sockets or bores so that the support legs extend downwardly and outwardly from the stock for engagement with a supporting surface such as the ground or the like. The support legs have elastic cords secured thereto which maintain the support legs in their stowed position and in their rifle support position.

Abstract: An entrance gate for a livestock sorter which includes a pair of entrance gate members which are movable between open and closed positions. The amount of opening movement of the gate members is selectively adjustable without the need of a wrench or the like.

Abstract: A conveyor chain comprising a plurality of substantially identical alternate elongated metal main links, each of which have a longitudinally extending opening therein which define U-shaped pivot pin receiving portions at the opposite ends thereof. A non-metallic U-shaped insert is positioned in each of the U-shaped pivot pin receiving portions. The chain also includes alternate pairs of substantially identical upper and lower metal links between the main links with metal pivot pins interconnecting the main links and the upper and lower links. The metal pivot pins are received by the U-shaped inserts. Modified forms of the pivot pins and inserts are also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a tactile warning panel inlay system and method. Such system is comprised of a panel formed with an exposed surface having a plurality of tactile warning protrusions and a support surface configured to contact a substrate matrix. The panel includes a plurality of apertures extending from the exposed surface to the support surface. Further, a plurality of fasteners are configured to extend individually through an aperture included in the plurality of panel apertures to secure the panel to the substrate matrix. Each fastener includes a head conformed to the shape of the tactile warning protrusion and a body for extending the fastener through the panel and into the substrate matrix.

Abstract: A gooseneck frame is attached to the forward ends of a pair of lift arms which extend forwardly from a vehicle such as a skid steer vehicle with the forward end of the gooseneck frame being secured to the forward end of a silt fence installing machine so that the silt fence installing machine is pulled through the ground in advance of the vehicle. An improved coulter disk includes a cylindrical hub which limits the downward movement of the coulter disc with respect to the ground.

Abstract: A bale mover is disclosed which includes a frame having a hitch mounted thereon which may be attached to the three-point hitch of the tractor or to the front end of a front-end loader mounted on the tractor. The frame includes a transversely extending tool bar or main frame member having first and second upstanding posts secured to the outer ends thereof. A pair of tooth supports are vertically slidably mounted on the first and second posts respectively with chains being attached thereto which limit the downward movement of the teeth supports but which permit the tooth supports to float upwardly on the posts as required. The bale mover permits a pair of bales to be loaded, transported and unloaded without the necessity of pushing one of the bales along the ground during the loading or unloading process of the other bale thereby preventing damage to the wrap net material on the bales.

Abstract: An applicator for applying a liquid carrier having live bacteria suspended therein, which are in a dormant state, to a target host comprising a pump having inlet and discharge sides, with the inlet side of the pump being in fluid communication with the liquid carrier. A first fluid conduit extends from the discharge side of the pump to an air induction nozzle which is in communication with a source of air under pressure. A flow control is imposed in the first conduit for adjusting the amount of liquid carrier passing therethrough. The pump and the air supply for the air induction nozzle are operatively connected to a power supply. The pump, when activated, causes the liquid carrier to be pumped to the air induction nozzle wherein the liquid carrier is mixed with air to create small droplets thereof for spraying onto the target host.

Abstract: A window well for use by a person to escape through a window formed in a basement wall including a generally U-shaped body member having upper and lower ends and inner and outer ends. The open upper end of the body member has a spacer and a removable lid mounted thereon. The body member is comprised of a composite material such as fiberglass. A stair structure is positioned adjacent the inner surface of the front wall of the body member and is also comprised of a composite material.

Abstract: A mini-sized side dump trailer comprising a wheeled frame having a pair of wheels supporting the rearward end thereof and a steerable front wheel assembly of the forward end thereof with a forwardly extending tongue extending from the front wheel assembly for connection to a small vehicle such as a utility terrain vehicle, an all terrain vehicle or a small tractor. The small side dump body may be pivoted to either the first side of the trailer or to the second side of the trailer.

Abstract: Foldable cab extenders are disclosed which are secured to the rearward ends of fixed cab extenders secured to the opposite rearward sides of a tractor cab. Each of the foldable cab extenders includes a forward panel member, an intermediate panel member and a rearward panel member with the forward panel member being secured to the associated fixed cab extender and with the intermediate panel member and the forward panel member being hingedly secured together and with the rearward panel member being hingedly secured to the intermediate panel member. The cab assemblies are selectively movable between a deployed position to a stowed position and vice versa. Actuators are operatively connected to the intermediate panel members and to the rearward panel members to enable the assemblies to be pivotally moved between their stowed and deployed positions. The actuators may be hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders or electrically driven devices.

Abstract: A temporary attachment for use with pipe hangers is disclosed which includes an elongated angle member which is supported upon the lower end of a pipe hanger and which has a plurality of ball transfer units positioned thereon which support the pipe being hung. The ball transfer units not only permit the longitudinal movement of the associated pipe with respect to the pipe hanger but also permits the pipe to be rotated about its longitudinal axis with respect to the pipe hanger.

Abstract: A vehicular plow comprises front and back plastic sheet members which are molded together to form a single seamless piece or moldboard. The back side of the moldboard has reinforcing ribs and rib members molded thereinto to add strength and rigidity to the plow. The plow is lightweight, frameless, durable and will not rust.

Abstract: A gate is operatively secured to the three-point hitch of a vehicle such as a tractor or the like and is movable between a forwardly extending transport position at one side of the vehicle, a substantially vertically disposed second position, and a third rearwardly extending position to close an opening in a fence or the like. The gate may be moved by an electrical motor/gearbox or a hydraulic motor/gearbox and is radio controllable.

Abstract: A slat replacement machine having an elongated rectangular frame supported at each end by a tracked drive unit which provides zero turn capability to the machine. A pair of outrigger assemblies is provided at the forward end of the frame and a pair of outrigger assemblies is provided at the rearward side of the frame. The outrigger assemblies may be pivotally moved from a stowed position adjacent the frame to an outwardly extending position. A telescopic boom is pivotally mounted on the upper end of a rotatable pedestal which extends upwardly from the center of the frame. Various components of the machine such as hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors are radio controlled.

Abstract: An alley for processing animals such as cattle or buffaloes is described which includes a pair of spaced-apart alleys at the entrance end of the alley and a single alley at the exit end of the pair of alleys at the entrance end of the alley. The outer side walls of the alleys are easily adjusted to vary the width thereof thereby enabling the alley to accommodate animals of different sizes. Rear-up prevention device mechanisms are also provided in each of the alleys to prevent the animals from raring up and falling over backwards. The alley may be either portable or stationary.

Abstract: A railway crossing installation for a pair of spaced-apart elongated rails each having a transverse section, a bottom horizontal flange, a vertically extending bight and a top ball. A plurality of relatively elongated concrete gauge panels are provided, with each gauge panel having a top surface generally aligned with the ball upper surface, each gauge panel having elongated sides disposed adjacent the rails and ends disposed in confronting relation to any adjacent gauge panels. The gauge panel side adjacent a rail has an integral elongated projection spaced below the panel top surface, with the projection extending towards the bight. A resilient, elongated extrusion extends along each gauge panel side between the projection side and the rail bight, the extrusion being selectively removably secured to the projection so that the outer ends of the extrusion is closely adjacent the associated rail. The installation also includes concrete field panels positioned outwardly of each of the rails.

Abstract: A battery-powered sewer and drain cleaner comprising a frame, a rotatable drum mounted on the frame which has a flexible plumber's snake associated therewith, a DC motor mounted on the frame for driving the drum and a rechargeable battery mounted on the frame for powering the DC motor. A control is connected to the DC motor for controlling the operation thereof. The use of DC power for the cleaner eliminates the electrocution hazard associated with AC-driven sewer and drain cleaners and eliminates the need for an extension cord. The sewer and drain cleaner of this invention includes new and unique circuitry to bypass the motor high current demand around the more delicate circuitry.

Abstract: An improved kingpin locking system includes a kingpin lock body having upper and lower sections, the lower and upper section each having a truncated generally pyramidal shape, with the lower one being inverted, a central kingpin-receiving chamber formed in the kingpin lock body, a kingpin engagement bar movably mounted in the kingpin lock body adjacent the kingpin-receiving chamber which releasably engages the kingpin when positioned within the chamber, and a kingpin engagement bar locking device which releasably locks the kingpin engagement bar in the engagement position thereby releasably securing the kingpin lock body on a kingpin to prevent unauthorized engagement of the kingpin and thereby preventing unauthorized use of the trailer.
