  • Patent number: 7175168
Abstract: A wing positioner apparatus for installing and removing an aircraft wing includes a wheeled base having a pair of vertically extending telescoping posts attached thereto. A wing support arm is hinged to each vertically extending telescoping post. A winch couples one wing support arm to one of the vertically extending posts for raising and lowering the wing support arm. A telescoping post winch is attached to the wheeled base for raising both vertically extending telescoping posts simultaneously. This allows an aircraft wing to be supported between the pair of wing support arms and the pair of vertically extending telescoping posts while being moved on the wheeled base and positioned for installation or removal from an aircraft fuselage.

  • Patent number: 7168146
Abstract: A process of making a hinged access hatch for use in marine and RV industries includes selecting a stainless hinge having a pair of leaves and rotating on a pentel or pivot pin and placing a portion of one leaf of the selected hinge into an access hatch door mold and sealing around said one leaf extending into said access door hatch mold to prevent plastic in said mold from contacting the moving portion of said hinge. The access hatch door is then molded in the access hatch mold having a portion of the one leaf of the hinge molded therein. The molded access hatch door has been removably attached to an access hatch frame by attaching fasteners through the plurality of openings in the other hinge leaf whereby an access hatch eliminates the need for hinge door fasteners while improving the strength of the access hatch door attachment to the access hatch frame.

  • Patent number: 7152816
Abstract: A mister nozzle apparatus has a check valve incorporated therein to shut off the water passing through the misting nozzle to prevent draining of the water from the misting water supply pipes. The check valve has a resilient membrane valve element which opens and closes responsive to water pressure to block or open the nozzle inlet. The check valve is vented to atmosphere through a vent located in the housing between the resilient membrane and the nozzle misting outlet.

  • Patent number: 7153417
Abstract: A storm water filter system apparatus includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet and has a floating filter basket therein having an open end portion. A scoop formed on the front end of the filter basket is positioned to face the inlet to the housing. The filter basket has a least one float attached thereto in a position to float the filter basket in water in the housing to position the filter basket open end and scoop in front of the housing inlet and at least partially above the water level in the housing to capture floating debris from the entering storm water so that the floating filter basket adjusts for varying water levels in the housing.

  • Patent number: 7081072
Abstract: A bar clamp connection connects an elongated bar member, such as the handle of a dumbbell to a bar clamp. The bar clamp has a clamp body having an elongated open sided tube having a side opening sized to receive a predetermined elongated bar member therein. A tubular extension extends perpendicular from the open sided tube for attaching to a matching tubular member. A strip of hook and loop material has the hoop portion on one side of the material and the loop portion on the other side of the material and can be adhesively attached to the clamp body such that the strip of hook and loop material can be wrapped over the open side of the open sided tube having an elongated bar member therein and attached to the hook and loop material on the other side thereof. The hook and loop material is adhesively attached to the clamp body and also has an opening therein which is fitted over the clamp body tubular extension.

  • Patent number: 7070122
Abstract: A wobbling irrigation sprinkler head for attachment to a water conduit has a wobbling sprinkler head facing upward from the water supply conduit. The sprinkler head has a base having an attachment portion for attaching to a water source and a nozzle mounted to the base for directing water therethrough. A wobbling water deflector head is movably attached to the base and has a water deflector pad thereon having a deflector surface of predetermined shape to deflect water being emitted from the nozzle to rotate the wobbling water deflector head. A counterbalancing skirt extends from the water deflecting head around a portion of the base and spaced from the base for rotation with a wobbling water deflector head so that counterbalancing the skirt counterbalances the water deflector head to dampen vibration forces in the deflector head.

  • Patent number: 7066868
Abstract: An exercise apparatus utilizes a user's own weight as a load has a folding A-frame formed from two frame sections hinged together and being foldable on the hinge from a storage position to an operative position. A generally U-shaped swing portion is movably attached to one of the frame sections and has a seat attached thereto. A pair of arms, each having a handle, are attached to a generally-U-shaped swing portion and extend therefrom so that a person sitting in the generally U-shaped swing portion seat can grip the handles and move the swing portion with the person sitting therein to thereby exercise a person's arms. A leg exerciser is attached to one of the frame sections to allow a person seated in the seat to exercise his legs.
