Abstract: A method and an apparatus for displaying an image on a display unit and controlling a backlight module which irradiates the display unit are disclosed. The method includes: processing the image signal and generating a driving signal to drive the display unit; displaying contents of the image signal; analyzing luminance values of the image signal to generate a luminance analysis result; and generating a control signal to control the backlight module according to the luminance analysis result.
Abstract: Constant current driving circuit includes a latch, an ON timer, and an OFF timer. The latch outputs a switch control signal according to an ON signal and an OFF signal for controlling a power switch. The power switch is coupled between an input voltage source and an inductor. When the switch control signal controls the power switch to turn on/off, the input voltage source is able/unable to couple to the inductor through the power switch. The inductor provides an output current and an output voltage. The ON timer detects if the output current reaches a peak value for accordingly outputting the OFF signal. The OFF timer outputs the ON signal according to the output voltage and the switch control signal for control the interval of the switch control signal representing “OFF”.
Abstract: The invention provides backlight module comprising a light guiding plate, a flexible substrate, and a light emitting unit. The flexible substrate has a first surface, and the light emitting unit is configured on the first surface. A paint area used for reflecting the light, emitted by the light emitting unit, to the light guiding plate is formed on the first surface near the light emitting unit. Accordingly, the light emitted into the light guiding plate could be prevented from being reflected by the flexible substrate directly and presenting the same color with the flexible substrate.
Abstract: An infant swing includes a holding frame, a hanger, and a supporting frame. The holding frame is used for holding a baby. The hanger is pivotally connected to the holding frame. The supporting frame is connected to an upper end of the hanger and extends along the contour of the holding frame from a side of the holding frame to another side, so that the supporting frame can support the holding frame on a holding surface cooperatively with the hanger.
Abstract: An image sensor structure and a method for making the image sensor structure, for avoiding or mitigating lens shading effect. The image sensor structure includes a substrate, a sensor array disposed at the surface of the substrate, a dielectric layer covering the sensor array, wherein the dielectric layer includes a top surface having a dishing structure, an under layer filled into the dishing structure and having a refraction index greater than that of the dielectric layer, a filter array disposed on the under layer corresponding to the sensor array, and a microlens array disposed above the filter array. A top layer may be additionally disposed to cover the filter array and the microlens array is disposed on the top layer.
Abstract: An electronic device includes a first casing, a second casing, and a fastening assembly. The first casing has a first pivotal portion. The second casing has a second pivotal portion having a fastening groove, and a display unit pivotally connected with the first pivotal portion via the second pivotal portion to be capable of rotating relative to the first casing to be opened or closed. The second pivotal portion and the display unit form an angle. The fastening assembly is pivotally disposed in the first casing and includes a fastening element and a first elastic element. The fastening element is disposed corresponding to the fastening groove of the second pivotal portion. The first elastic element is connected with the fastening element. When the fastening element is fastened to the fastening groove, the first elastic element provides elastic force to allow the display unit to firmly cover the first casing.
Abstract: A system corrected programmable integrated circuit is applied to a power supply and includes a comparator unit, a digital output unit and a programming unit. The comparator unit includes an external feedback voltage input end and a reference voltage input end for inputting a feedback voltage and a reference voltage respectively, such that when the feedback voltage equals the reference voltage, the comparator unit transmits a control signal to the digital output unit. When receiving the control signal, the digital output unit stops outputting the reference voltage and the current reference voltage is recorded as a programming voltage for outputting to the programming unit. When receiving the programming voltage, the programming unit programs the programming voltage and transmits the voltage to the reference voltage input end. Accordingly, the present invention automatically detects and compensates a system error to reduce external element, yet still achieving a qualified range of product specification.
Abstract: A touch device includes a touch pad and a base having an accommodating region and at least one first conductor. The touch pad is received in the accommodating region and subjected to a force to generate a changeable position relative to the base. The touch pad has a touch surface consisting of a plurality of capacitive sensors and at least one second conductor connected with at least one of the capacitive sensors. The second conductor is electrically connected with the first conductor. Capacitances measured from the capacitive sensors are substantially different between the touch surface touched with a conductive object and the second conductor connected with the first conductor, which is connected to a fixed voltage, current or a ground. Therefore, a control unit connected to the capacitive sensors can generate different control signals from the connecting state between the first conductor and the second conductor.

Abstract: A fabrication method of a wafer structure includes: providing a substrate having a plurality of die regions and an edge region surrounding the die regions defined thereon; then, forming a dielectric layer, a plurality of MEMS devices, a plurality of metal-interconnect structures and a plurality bonding pads on the substrate in the die regions; next, removing the dielectric layer disposed on the substrate of the edge region to expose the substrate; and thereafter, forming a passivation layer to cover the substrate and the dielectric layer.

Abstract: A handheld mobile phone includes at least two buttons, a logic circuit, and a processing unit, wherein each button is used for performing at least one specific function. The logic circuit is coupled to the at least two buttons for generating a corresponding specific signal when one of the at least two buttons is pressed alone, and for generating at least a control signal when all of the at least two buttons are pressed. The processing unit executes the specific function of the pressed button according to the corresponding specific signal. When all of the at least two buttons are pressed, the processing unit controls the handheld mobile phone to enter a reset state from an operating state according to at least the control signal.

The semiconductor island extends out of both edges of the gate electrode, and extends out of an edge of the source electrode and an edge of the drain electrode.
Abstract: When a leg frame is assembled to a seat, the child chair is used as a high chair. When the leg frame is detached from the seat, the child chair may be served as a booster. Legs of the detached leg frame are further assembled with a footrest for storage purpose. The footrest has coupling slots that are formed by resilient arms to hold the detached legs. The footrest may also serve as a pedal for feet when the leg frame is assembled to the seat.

The controller is utilized for reading a plurality of bits from an identification region of a page, and determining whether the page is blank or not according to the plurality of bits.
