Abstract: A computer-executable browser program, which generates drawing data for displaying contents on a display in accordance with contents data described in markup language, is provided with plurality of browser modules in which different functions are implemented, and a browser module managing unit that manages the plurality of the browser modules. One of a plurality of the browser modules is a rendering module to carry out rendering contents data for generating drawing data. At least one of a plurality of the browser modules is such a module as exclusively used for substituting for or changing a part of a rendering module or adding a separate function to functions of the rendering module. The browser module managing unit determines to process an element included in the contents data by using any of the exclusive modules in accordance with a predetermined condition so as to provide what makes a rendering module process such a thing that a predetermined change is added to the contents data.

Abstract: In a terminal apparatus for displaying as an image, a document in which a link is set, on a display screen which also serves as a touch panel, a favorable operation is achieved including link selecting operation, or the like, while eliminating a conflict in a touch operation. To this end, when a touch is made on a browser screen by a finger 350 of a user, a link selection is allowed only within a link effective field 360 including a position being touched. Then, when the touch is released within the link effective field 360 transition is made to a destination of the link being in the touched state. When the touch is moved outwardly from inside the link effective field 360 while keeping the touched state of the touch, a predetermined process other than the link selection is performed based on at least one of a relative direction or a moved distance of the touch with respect to the initial position of the touch.

Abstract: A DMP/DMC (dual terminal) (10) has both of a content reproduction function for reproducing a content, and a content controller function for controlling the delivery of the content from a content server to an arbitrary delivery destination and the reproduction of the content. The dual terminal (10) accepts the selection of the content from its operation unit, and receives a designation of the delivery destination to deliver the content from the DMS (content server) 20. The dual terminal switches the GUI setting for its display unit, depending on whether the delivery destination is the terminal itself or an apparatus provided with the content reproduction function. Abstract: Methods and systems to maintain data integrity across a plurality of devices by reducing or preventing dangling references are provided. In one embodiment, all data objects are provided with reference IDs enabling reference to an extant version of an object. In another embodiment, a global synchronization clock per synchronization node is used. Furthermore, in an embodiment, data integrity is enhanced through the use of snapshots during synchronization processes. In another embodiment, forwarding deletes is used to resolve conflicts in a synchronization process.
