Abstract: A granulated antifoam composition comprising an antifoam, a siloxane wax binder, and a carrier. The antifoam includes a hydrophobic fluid wherein the hydrophobic fluid has a surface tension which is greater than or approximately equal to the dynamic surface tension of an aqueous dispersion of the detergent at above the critical micelle concentration of the surfactant and less than about 62 mN/m. The antifoam further includes a finely divided solid hydrophobic filler dispersed in the hydrophobic fluid.
