Abstract: The AC adapter with automatic built-in power switch comprises of an AC power supply circuit, an AC control circuit, and a monitoring circuit. The monitoring circuit further comprises of a standby power supply, a microcontroller, a circuit for device detection, and a current monitor circuit. The AC power supply circuit is electrically connected to the alternating current source and converts the alternating current to direct current for charging the rechargeable battery of an electronic device. The AC control circuit acts as a switch to turn the AC power supply on and off. The monitor circuit detects whether an electronic device is connected to the adapter and also whether the charging process is completed.
Abstract: The USB AC adapter with removable USB vehicle power adapter comprises of a housing with a slot that holds a removable vehicle power adapter. The housing has an alternating current plug adapted to be insertable into an alternating current source. The housing further encloses a universal serial bus. Power conversion circuits are enclosed in the housing to convert the 110V alternating current to both 5V and 12V direct currents. The 5V direct current is directed through the universal serial bus in the housing. The 12V direct current is directed to the slot that holds the removable vehicle power adapter. The removable vehicle power adapter is adapted to be removable from the housing and insertable into a vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and converts the 12V from the vehicle's direct current power supply to 5V direct current output through a universal serial bus.
Abstract: A switch for universal serial bus is disclosed. The universal serial bus (USB) port has a built switch actuator that automatically turns power on and off upon insertion and removal of a USB plug. The switch for universal serial bus comprises of a USB port with a switch actuator in a power-off position and a momentary switch wherein when a USB plug is inserted into the USB port, the switch actuator is depressed which in turn depresses the momentary switch to turn on the power to the USB port. When the USB plug is removed from the USB port, the switch actuator returns to its original power-off position thereby turning off the power to the USB port.

Abstract: The dock with USB port is a compact and portable adapter. It has a substantially smaller form factor than the electronic device to be docked with it. The dock with USB port plugs into a USB port and provides an adjustable dock for an electronic device and a pass thru USB port that can be used by another electronic device. The dock with USB port comprises of a housing with a USB plug at one end and a USB port at the other end. A plug that extends from a small flange is provided in a concavity, which angles toward the USB plug, on a side of the housing. An adjustable support is provided adjacent to the concavity to support an electronic device.

Abstract: A motion controlled vehicle power adapter with a vehicle power adapter that can be plugged into the 12V vehicle power outlet and has a remote motion sensor at one end of the vehicle power adapter opposite the end that plugs into the 12 V vehicle power outlet. The remote motion sensor is operated by the operator's hand motion near the sensor without contacting the sensor. The remote motion sensor may be detachable from the vehicle power adapter. The operator's hand motions are translated into control signals and sent to a portable electronic device to control its functions. The control signals may be sent through a wire or wirelessly through a wireless transmitter.
Abstract: A micro universal serial bus adapter to enable a micro universal serial bus connector to be connected to an Apple proprietary connector. The micro universal serial bus adapter comprises of an adapter that has a male proprietary connector at one end to connect to a female Apple proprietary connector and a female micro universal serial bus connector at the other end to connect to a standard male micro universal serial bus plug.
