Abstract: A system of components pertaining to electrical wiring and adaptive, multipurpose outlets. A standardized and interchangeable in-wall system includes low voltage, direct-current power from an alternating current power source, compatible with existing AC outlet boxes. In a preferred embodiment, a standardized configuration of in-wall USB ports supplies low voltage, direct current, and includes a removable, interchangeable docking station. The invention allows for the charging of electronic devices while simultaneously preserving the availability of all AC outlets.
