The striking plate includes an engaging portion that is engaged with an engaging portion of the striking plate. One of the engaging portion of the striking plate and the engaging portion of the club head body includes at least one groove, and the other includes at least one protrusion. The bonding layer is applied between the engaging portion of the club head body and the engaging portion of the striking plate. The groove and the protrusion of the engaging portion of the club head body and the engaging portion of the striking plate increase a contact area between the club head body and the striking plate, thereby improving a bonding strength between the club head body and the striking plate.

Abstract: A dynamic balance-testing method for a golf club shaft in accordance with the present invention comprises steps of: fixing a first end of a golf club shaft; measuring reacting forces of a constant displacement of a second end of the golf club shaft in a plurality of predetermined angular directions with respect to an axis of the golf club shaft; calculating a minimum difference of reacting force of any two opposite directions; and determining a preferred balance direction according to the minimum difference of reacting force and thus selecting a preferred striking direction perpendicular to the balance direction of the golf club shaft for assembling.

Abstract: A manufacturing method for a golf club head. The method includes the steps of: casting a cast body provided with a recession thereon; cutting the cast body to form with at least one cut opening in the recession on the golf club head; adhering a carbon-fiber plate to the recession to seal the cut opening; defining a buffer groove between the carbon-fiber plate and the cast body; and filling with an elastic material into the buffer groove; processing the cast body to an end product.

A filling material may be filled in the compartment for absorbing vibrations generated as a result of striking a golf ball.

Thus, when a slim illuminant has been inserted through one through-hole and lights in the hollow body, welding quality within the golf club head can be examined visually through the other through-hole.
