  • Patent number: 6399891
Abstract: A multilayer board free from breakage at connecting parts due to thermal fatigue is provided. A multilayer board 1 of the present invention comprises alternating polyimide films 11-16 and copper films 21-26. The polyimide films 11-16 have a thermal expansion coefficient of 2-5 ppm/° C. so that the multilayer board 1 has a total thermal expansion coefficient of less than 10 ppm/° C. Because of the thermal expansion coefficient close to that of the semiconductor element to be mounted, no breakage occurs at connecting parts to the semiconductor element. The multilayer board 1 of the present invention may be used as both interposer and motherboard.

  • Publication number: 20020048658
Abstract: A recording sheet is provided, which difficultly undergoes handing of printed images formed thereon and which can permit to print with a pigment ink. In the recording sheet of the invention, an ink-permeable layer contains a filler and a surfactant of 9.0 or less in HLB value and surface of the filler particles is in a state of being covered with lipophilic groups of the surfactant, and thus an ink applied to the surface of the ink-permeable layer does not spread on the surface of the ink-permeable layer but is absorbed into the ink-permeable layer and, in the ink-permeable layer, the ink does not diffuse in the surface direction but migrates straight in the depth direction. Further, addition of a cation group-containing compound as a fixing agent to the ink-receiving layer of the recording sheet serves to improve fixing properties of the colorant in the ink-receiving layer, thus no banding occurring within the ink receiving layer as well.

  • Patent number: 6309794
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a resin suitable for use as a protective layer or adhesive layer formed on the surface of a metal film. A liquid oligomer having a high specific gravity of 1.10 or more is contained in a photocurable resin involved in photopolymerization of a resin composition. Upon application on a metal film 12 and photopolymerization, bulky substituents owned by the high-specific gravity liquid oligomer prevent penetration of moisture to provide a protective film 13 with low water permeability. Said high-specific gravity liquid oligomer should desirably be contained in the photocurable resin within the range from 35% by weight to 78% by weight both inclusive.

  • Patent number: 6174617
Abstract: A variety of information is transmitted to an electronic apparatus by using a microcomputer for low-speed processing and with saved power. A CPU acquires detection data of a thermistor, and detection data, such as the terminal voltage or the discharge current of a battery, at intervals of 10 seconds, through respective interfaces, calculates the remaining capacity and the total capacity of the battery, stores the results and the acquired data as transmission data in a RAM, and transmits this stored transmission data at intervals of one second from a communication interface to an electronic apparatus. Since the CPU transmits the data in one direction independently of the operation of the CPU on the electronic apparatus side, it is possible to greatly lower the operating clock of the CPU and to greatly reduce the consumption of power thereof.
