    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a motor has a cylindrical stator core and rotor. A first framework is fixed to a side of the stator core in an axial direction, and a first bearing housing is fixed to the outside of the first framework. A second framework is fixed to the other side of the stator core. A second bearing housing is fixed to the outside of the second framework. The rotor has a rotational shaft, supported by the bearings, extending into the frameworks. A rotor core is attached to the shaft. Support bases are fixed to the rotor, and are interposed by the rotor core. A locking member coupled to the first framework is configured to contact the first support base. A locking member coupled to the second framework is configured to contact the second support base. The rotor is fixed by the locking members contact with the support bases.

    Abstract: A sheet loading and handling apparatus that suppress anomalies in sheet supply operation and feed sheets in a stable manner is disclosed. The sheet loading unit includes a supply mechanism that moves a plurality of stacked sheets in a direction toward a feeding position located at an end of the loading unit, a feeding mechanism that individually feeds sheets to the feeding position, and a control unit controlling a plurality of sensors, which detect whether there is a sheet at the feeding position. The supply mechanism operates based on detection information of the sensors. The control unit monitors a relationship between signal information of the optical sensor and that of another sensor, and if a signal relationship that is not normal as compared to that of normal feeding occurs, the unit retracts the signal information of the optical sensor and uses only the signal information of the other sensor.

The estimating the voltage command is performed without using a zero vector. A phase angle and angular velocity estimating section configured to estimate a phase angle and an angular velocity of a rotor of the synchronous machine based, at least in part, on an inductance value, an induction voltage value, the voltage command, and the output current. The controller is further configured to control the output current based, at least in part, on the phase angle and the angular velocity.

    Abstract: A self reference-counting pointer that keeps the reference count of the object within the pointer-object that does not impose any restrictions on the object itself and can be used freely on objects already created. A reference count object is created and is attached to a pointer-object of the object when the first instance of the object is created. When subsequent references or copies of the object are made, the reference count is incremented, and the pointer object associated with the subsequent reference or copy of the object are attached to the reference count object. When any instance of the object goes out of scope, the pointer-object to that instance is detached from the reference count object and the reference count is decremented. When there are no instances of the object attached to the reference counter, then the reference counter is deleted.
