Abstract: A machine for forming a joined blank assembly from first and second blanks of sheet material includes a deck coupled to a frame, and a first transfer assembly associated with the frame. The first transfer assembly is configured to position the first blank on the deck. The machine also includes a second transfer assembly associated with the frame. The second transfer assembly is configured to position the second blank in at least a partially overlying relationship to the first blank on the deck. The machine further includes at least one compression member configured to compress the second blank and the first blank together against the deck to form the joined blank assembly.

Abstract: A machine for forming a container from a blank of sheet material includes an outer body frame, a mandrel mounted to the body frame, a lifting assembly coupled to the body frame, and a lateral presser assembly and a folding arm assembly coupled to the lifting assembly, wherein the lifting assembly moves the lateral presser assembly and the folding arm assembly in a first direction and an opposite, second direction. A folding arm servomechanism is operatively connected to a folding arm of the folding arm assembly and rotates the folding arm relative to the mandrel to wrap a first portion of the blank around the mandrel. A lateral presser servomechanism is operatively connected to an engaging bar of the lateral presser assembly and rotates the engaging bar relative to the mandrel to wrap a second portion of the blank around the mandrel to at least partially form the container.

Abstract: A container can include a plurality of side panels defining an interior space, and an inner partition member disposed at least partially within the interior space. The inner partition member can be configured to be at least partially conformal with the plurality of side panels in a first position, and to form one or more partitions dividing the interior space in at least a second position. In certain embodiments, only a portion of the inner partition member can be attached to an interior surface of the plurality of side panels such that the inner partition member can be configured to be moved between the first position and at least the second position.

Abstract: A retail ready packaging system includes a convertible carton with a first plurality of slots are defined in a bottom wall adjacent a first side wall, and a second plurality of slots defined in the bottom wall adjacent a second side wall. A plurality of cards are included, wherein each card is seated in one of the slots of the first plurality of slots and in an opposed one of the slots of the second plurality of slots. Each card has a respective foot panel foldably attached to a main panel of the card, wherein the foot panel sits adjacent the bottom wall, and wherein the main panel of the card extends upward from the foot panel toward a top wall of the carton.

Abstract: In accordance with at least one aspect of this disclosure, a twisted package can be configured to be flat in a collapsed state having one or more fold lines that are straight. At least a portion of the twisted package can be twisted in the formed state such that the one or more fold lines are bent in the formed state and/or such that a body of the twisted package is twisted in a formed state. Any suitable structure to form a twisted package is contemplated herein.

The display system is convertible from a shipping configuration in which the tray and hood portions cooperate to form an enclosed carton, into a display configuration in which the hood portion is separated completely from the tray portion. The display system is configured to be transitioned from the shipping configuration to the display configuration by breaking an adhesive connection between the at least one glue flap panel and the tray portion and lifting the hood portion away from the tray portion.

Abstract: A bale of stock packaging material includes a continuous tube of paperboard material, the continuous tube of paperboard material being flattened and folded back and forth on itself into a fan-folded bale. The continuous tube of paperboard can be a single piece of paperboard with two opposed edges that are folded to overlap with each other. The paperboard material can include a corrugated layer. The opposed edges can be adhered together to form a single seam that runs lengthwise along the continuous tube of paperboard. The adhesive can be applied between the two edges which can join to form the single seam.
