Abstract: Generating a product design is provided. A plurality of product desirability models corresponding to a product is generated based on analysis of data corresponding to the product and features of the product that affect physical interactions between potential consumers of the product and the product. A set of insights into design of the product is generated based on the plurality of product desirability models corresponding to the product. A set of design element recommendations for the product is generated based on the set of insights into the design of the product generated from the plurality of product desirability models.

Abstract: Systems and methods for ordering a replacement component or repair service are disclosed. According to some aspects, condition data indicating a condition of a consumable component may be generated by sensor and transmitted to an order assistance system. The order assistance system may determine whether the consumable component requires at least one of replacement or repair by comparing the condition data with one or more maintenance parameters. Additionally, in response to a determination that the consumable component requires at least one of replacement or repair, the order assistance system may recommend at least one of a replacement component or a repair service in accordance with one or more order parameters pre-selected by a user. In some aspects, an insurance policy associated with the consumable component may be adjusted based on the successful repair or replacement of the consumable component.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for providing a unique navigation experience for a user interacting with an electronic commerce site by dynamically generating a navigation interface according to a user context for a given shopping experience. The user context associated with a user interacting with an electronic commerce site can be determined following an analysis of a variety of context factors. A navigation interface can be dynamically generated based on the user context. In some examples, navigation components within the navigation interface can be associated with different categories that the user can navigate through. The navigation components can visually indicate a level of completeness for a given category so that the user is aware of where he or she is in a given shopping experience.

Abstract: An electronic commerce system configured to implement a product ordering method for receiving a product search inquiry from an input device, displaying a plurality of products in a product listing available from purchase based on the product search inquiry on an output device, receiving a selection of a product, and displaying a first product information page including at least a product name, a product price, general product information, a first product ordering link for accessing a product ordering interface and a product information detail link. Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method, system and computer program product for online ordering using conversational interfaces. In an embodiment of the invention, the method includes storing customer information corresponding to a customer and responsive to receiving a message with text or speech and an image from the customer, identifying an intent type from the text or speech using Natural Language Understanding, identifying a product or service from the image using image classification techniques and transmitting a product detail message to the customer with the product or service and corresponding pricing using Natural Language Generation. The method further includes responsive to receiving an affirmative message from the customer in response to the product detail message identified as affirmative using Natural Language Understanding, automatically completing a purchase of the product or service with the customer information and transmitting a receipt message to the customer with an order receipt.

Abstract: A method and a system to present samples of products to customers by transporting the samples to the customer's location with an autonomous vehicle. The sample can be a product, a component of a product, a material or a device to gather information in defining the product. The autonomous vehicle is adapted for off road travel and may enter buildings, it can be carried to a nearby location by a street adapted vehicle. Information may be transmitted electronically but physical presence is essential. The customer or the customer's agent receives a presentation of the product definer and a selection of a final product is made. In other cases the autonomous vehicle delivery separate or installed technical equipment to examine the presentation location and assist in the final product selection. For example, photographs from multiple locations can measure a room for installation of carpets or draperies, etc.

Abstract: A device receives third-party boycott data associated with a merchant, and receives customer preference data associated with a customer of the merchant. The device processes the third-party boycott data and the customer preference data, with a machine learning model, to identify a boycott of the merchant that is predicted to be of interest to the customer. The device provides, to a user device of the customer, information identifying the boycott of the merchant and information that solicits the customer to indicate whether the customer desires to join the boycott, and receives, from the user device, information indicating that the customer desires to join the boycott. The device causes a transaction account associated with the customer to be restricted from a transaction with the merchant when the information indicates that the customer desires to join the boycott.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, information about a buyer in an ecommerce system is obtained. An unpaid item risk assessment is calculated for the buyer, the unpaid item risk assessment calculating a risk that the buyer will not pay for an item on which the buyer bids. A bid limit is then established based on the unpaid item risk assessment. A bid from the buyer may then later be blocked based on the bid limit.

Abstract: A method of operating a price estimation system includes obtaining service requests from consumers, and obtaining bids from service professionals based on the service requests obtained from the consumers. The method additionally includes generating a training set based on the bids and the service requests, and generating a model for generating price estimates based on the training set. The method also includes employing the model to generate the price estimates based on additional service requests provided by additional consumers. In some aspects, the method further includes communicating the price estimates to the additional consumers during performance of a process for obtaining the additional service requests from the additional consumers. Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for streamlining interactions between a customer and a customer service representative of a company. An interaction is commenced between the customer and the customer service representative during which historical data is accessed related to the customer stored in a company controlled computer system responsive to the interaction. The historical data preferably relates to at least one product or service provided by the company to the customer. At least a part of the historical information is displayed to the customer service representative. On the display, a first tab is generated related to the historical data as is a second tab relating to a quote for a new product or service for offering to the customer. The customer service representative is thereafter enabled to switch between displaying the historical data and the quote by selecting the first or second tab, respectively, without having to save the quote.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for presenting recommendations for suggested activities. One example method includes receiving a first signal from a device that includes a current context of the device that includes location information for the device. The device is associated with a particular profile. A preferred language associated with the device is determined from the profile. The profile is analyzed to determine a contextual activity preference associated with the device. A repository of establishment information is searched to identify an activity that matches the current context associated with the device and the contextual activity preference. An activity description of the identified activity is translated from a foreign language to the preferred language to create a translated activity description. A second signal is transmitted to the device that includes the translated activity description for presentation at the device.

Abstract: A client device obtains a request from a user to retrieve makeup information from a cloud server and obtains a digital image of a facial region of the user. The client device transmits the digital image to initiate a communication session with the cloud server without obtaining login credentials from the user, wherein the cloud server retrieves a makeup session packet by matching the transmitted digital image with one of a plurality of digital images in the cloud server and transmits the makeup session packet comprising a corresponding selection of cosmetic products. The client device receives the makeup session packet and extracts the selection of cosmetic products by the client device and generates a user interface displaying the selection of cosmetic products. The client device performs virtual application of the selection of cosmetic products onto the facial region of the user.

Abstract: Method of generating customizable avatar outfits and accessories starts with a processor receiving a first identification information associated with a first article of clothing for sale on a first third-party server. The processor generates an outfit update interface comprising an avatar associated with a user of a client device and a first selectable item corresponding to the first article of clothing. The processor receives a selection from the client device of the first selectable item. The processor modifies the avatar to generate a modified avatar that is wearing an avatar outfit that comprises a first item that resembles the first article of clothing. The processor then causes the modified avatar to be displayed on a display screen of the client device. Other embodiments are disclosed.

The catalog data includes catalog attribute data and catalog value data. The approach determines engagement data for the one or more received queries. The engagement data includes a number of times customers interacted with a retrieved item for a respective query. The approach determines cumulative engagement data based on the retrieved catalog data and the determined engagement data. The approach generates a probability and an evaluation score based on the cumulative engagement data.
