  • Patent number: 6831224
Abstract: A one-piece manufactured shielding casing is provided for accommodating electronic functional elements. The shielding casing has a functional lid, which is manufactured in the top of the one-piece manufactured shielding casing so the lid is a functional part of the one-piece manufactured shielding casing. The lid can be breakably and releasably opened yet maintain a bendable hinge. Weakening or a groove is manufactured, for example by die-cutting or stamping the plate thereby forming frames for the lid in the top of the shielding casing. These position frames can be breakably released. A certain side of the lid is made by manufacturing a stronger weakening to the plate that shall establish the bendable hinge for the lid.

  • Patent number: 6826045
Abstract: A data storage device mounting apparatus includes a retaining bracket (20) fixedly mounted to a computer chassis (10), two slide rails (40) attached to opposite sides of a data storage device (50), and a resilient operation body (30). The retaining bracket includes two opposite side plates (21, 22) each defining a long slot (24). Each slide rail includes protrusions (42) slidably engaging in a corresponding slot. One side plate includes a detent tab (28). One slide rail includes a blocking tab (46). The operation body is fixed to one side plate, and includes an inward projection (33). When the data storage device is slid into the retaining bracket, the projection snappingly engages with the blocking tab, to prevent accidental withdrawal of the data storage device from the retaining bracket. The detent tab abuts an end of the data storage device, to prevent the data storage device from moving further inwardly.

  • Patent number: 6819557
Abstract: An ergonomic stylus for a personal digital assistant, a tablet PC or other computer with a pen-based interface, with a body consisting of a tip and two or more arms. The arms reflexively assume an open position when removed from the pen slot of the pen-based computer and thereby provides the user with an ergonomic gripping area. The arms assume a closed position for storage in the pen slot in the PDA or other pen-based computer. It is therefore the primary object of the current invention to provide users of pen-based computers with a single device which is both comfortable for use over a prolonged period and which is storable in the pen slot of the pen-based computer.
