Abstract: An object tracking system that includes a sensor and a tracking system. The sensor is configured to capture a frame of at least a portion of a rack within a global plane for a space. The tracking system is further configured to receive the frame, to determine a pixel location for the first person, and to determine a person is within the predefined zone associated with the rack. The tracking system is further configured to identify the plurality of items in a digital cart associated with the person, to identify an item from the digital cart associated with the first person, and to remove the identified item from the digital cart associated with the person.

Abstract: Disclosed are a system and process of providing social networking purchasing processes. A method includes receiving, from a posting entity and at the social networking entity, a posting or a submission of a text, an image or a video. When the submission is associated with a product within a product catalog of the posting entity, the social networking entity presents in a newsfeed of users or otherwise on the social networking entity, the text, image or video with an associated option to buy. The option to buy might be presented through a messenger application or as the user browses the posting. When there is a correlation between the posting and the product catalog, and when the user makes a purchase of the product, the user is not transitioned away from the social networking entity. Initiating a payment process occurs within the social networking entity.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method including presenting an input field on a user interface of a generalized search entity, wherein the generalized search entity processes data using a generalized search engine that indexes and searches both merchant sites and non-merchant sites, receiving user input in the input field and determining whether the user input corresponds to a product in a product database to yield a determination. When the determination indicates that the user input does correspond to the product in the product database, the method includes presenting a purchase-related search result, wherein the purchase-related search result is configured such that when a user interacts with the purchase-related search result and confirms a purchase associated with the purchase-related search result, the generalized search entity initiates a purchasing process for the product.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating a virtual reality (VR) simulation of a retail store, which simulation is configured and displayed on an immersive VR display device that enables a user to experience the simulated retail store as if it were a physical retail store. The systems enable the user to arrange display cases and other interior store components, and to populate shelves, racks, and the like, with products to be sold in the retail store. A VR platform enables multiple users to synchronously view the VR simulation and make coordinated changes to develop an optimized configuration of the retail store. Marketing, sales, merchant, and other data may be collected, aggregated, and analyzed to identify purchase trends of certain products; the analyzed data may identify user shopping preferences, and the VR platform may generate a customized retail store including only products relevant to a user.

Abstract: A method and system for recommending a merchant are provided. The method includes receiving financial transaction data documenting financial transactions between a plurality of account holders and a plurality of merchants and generating a merchant correspondence matrix that includes the plurality of merchants and a plurality of indicators of interactions associated with pairs of the plurality of merchants. The plurality of indicators of interactions tallying financial transactions conducted by the plurality of account holders at both of the merchants in a pair of the plurality of merchants. The method further includes receiving a query for a recommendation of a merchant from an account holder and generating a ranked list of merchants based on a recommender algorithm. The recommender algorithm inferring user preferences from attributes of the plurality of merchants that were visited by the cardholder.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media (transitory and non-transitory) are provided herein for automated bidding on auctioned online content. In various embodiments, a bidder process operating on a bidder management computing system may determine an IP address associated with an impression to be populated with consumable content. The impression may be solicited by a content auction computing system. The bidder process may retrieve, e.g., from volatile memory local to the bidder process management computing system, bidding guidelines associated with the IP address. The bidder process may determine, based on the retrieved bidding guidelines, a bid for a particular consumable content item to populate the solicited impression. The bidder process may then submit the bid to the content auction computing system.

Abstract: A server receives a request for a deal from a client device of a merchant, the request for a deal including a merchant identifier. The server then accesses merchant information based on the merchant identifier, the merchant information including a merchant category and a merchant location. Additionally, the server obtains a set of candidate deals based on the merchant category and merchant location. The server then obtains historical information for each candidate deal, the historical information corresponding to one or more conversion rates of the candidate deal when the candidate deal was previously offered by one or more merchants. Next, the server determines a predicted conversion rate for each candidate deal, based on the historical information for the respective candidate deal and selects a deal based on the predicted conversion rates for the set of candidate deals.

Abstract: Disclosed is a web 3.0 orchestration system that creates a token economy through which customers are able to establish relationships and purchase physical and digital goods and services from any merchant at any place without having to access the physical or digital storefront of the merchant. The orchestration system may receive a triggering event from a user device, may compile user data from user profiles that are associated with the user device, and may select a distributed set of smart contracts defined by different merchants based on the triggering event. The orchestration system may execute the distributed set of smart contracts using the user data as inputs, may select offerings from a set of merchants based on the output generated from executing the smart contracts, and may present the offerings to the user device as part of facilitating a transaction between the user device and any of the merchants.

Item listings can be generated using structured information extracted while capturing an item listing video of the item. During the item listing video, image recognition models may also be employed to determine other item description information, such as the color, the brand, and the like. Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for utilizing a vehicle to determine an identity of a user. A user may establish a vehicle as associated with the user, such as a vehicle owned by the user or used by the user. The vehicle may include a vehicle device that may be configured to establish connections with other devices using short range and network communications. In various embodiments, the other devices may be devices at merchant locations. Thus, a merchant at the merchant location may be informed about settings, preferences, and/or parameters for use of the vehicle established by the user. The merchant may receive these parameters even if another user is utilizing the vehicle, thus, establishing rules for use of the vehicle by the other user. In other embodiments, the other devices may be devices in other vehicles, allowing the users to communicate and set waypoints during trips.

Abstract: A method for conducting a plurality of electronic service exchanges over a network and a tangible, non-transient computer readable medium including instructions stored thereon to carry out the method are disclosed. The exchanges are conducted between two or more service providers on a basis of service time and description, and do not involve any monetary transaction. The method includes receiving information about an offered and requested service to initiate service exchanges. A plurality of parameters associated with the offered and requested services and an instruction set for each exchange are then identified. When the identification results in a match between the offered service and the requested service of a first service provider on a first terminal coupled to the network and the requested service and the offered service of at least one additional service provider on at least one additional terminal coupled to the network, the service exchange is conducted.

Abstract: A labor marketplace exchange (LME) computing system and method are provided. The LME computing system communicates with communications devices of service providers and service users. The LME computing system receives service provider profile data from the service providers. Service users can submit service queries to the LME computing system. Based on the parameters of the service query, service providers are identified by the LME computing system. A service request is then sent to a service provider identified by the LME computing system and selected by the service user.

Abstract: Systems and methods herein are developed which enable modification of an initial customized cosmetic product, wherein the initial customized cosmetic product is created based on an initial customized cosmetic product specification or an existing specification of a non-custom product. One such system and method for making a custom cosmetic product from an existing non-custom cosmetic product is configured to be capable of: characterizing a non-custom product with a known key comprised of at least one search component; providing user interaction to modify at least one of the at least one search components in this key to create a modified key; and using the modified key to produce custom product which may include determining manufacturing instructions. Such systems and methods may incorporate a custom or non-custom product attribute data base for providing product attribute data for modification and adjustment of the user search key using an adjustment service.
