Abstract: A method and system create, on a portable electronic device, a real-time graphical view of an in-store product display that pinpoints the location of one or more target products on the product display. The graphical view is generated by capturing merchandise display data, such as a video feed of the in-store product display, and processing the data to detect the one or more target products based on predefined product recognition criteria uniquely associated with the respective target products.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a social media software module operating on a user device, input from a first user associated with a payment from the first user to a second user, wherein the social media software module provides a social media interaction which enables communication between the first user and the second user, receiving, in connection with use of the social media software module for the social media interaction, a payment authorization from the first user for the payment to the second user and initiating, from the social media software module and based on the payment authorization, a blockchain-based payment from the first user to the second user. This approach incorporates a cryptocurrency wallet into a social media application to reduce friction and enable easy payments between users of the social media application using a cryptocurrency for at least part of the transfer of value from one user to another.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to translate and manage product data are disclosed. A disclosed example system for translating and managing product data pertaining to a plurality of tenants includes a rules executor to verify, based on product attribute rules, that requested product attributes pertaining to a product request from a buyer are valid, an attribute translator to generate platform standard attributes of products corresponding to the tenants, where the attribute translator is to translate tenant-specific product attributes to the platform standard attributes based on the tenant-specific product attributes and the product attribute rules, and an equivalency evaluator to evaluate an equivalency of the products based on the requested product attributes and output the equivalency. The equivalency evaluator is to store the equivalency.

Abstract: A server receives a request for a deal from a client device of a merchant, the request for a deal including a merchant identifier. The server then accesses merchant information based on the merchant identifier, the merchant information including a merchant category and a merchant location. Additionally, the server obtains a set of candidate deals based on the merchant category and merchant location. The server then obtains historical information for each candidate deal, the historical information corresponding to one or more conversion rates of the candidate deal when the candidate deal was previously offered by one or more merchants. Next, the server determines a predicted conversion rate for each candidate deal, based on the historical information for the respective candidate deal and selects a deal based on the predicted conversion rates for the set of candidate deals.

The host computing device generates a user profile message based on the user data and transmits the user profile message to a dynamic menu computing device operating a dynamic menu application. In various embodiments, a bidder process operating on a bidder management computing system may determine an IP address associated with an impression to be populated with consumable content. The impression may be solicited by a content auction computing system. The bidder process may retrieve, e.g., from volatile memory local to the bidder process management computing system, bidding guidelines associated with the IP address. The bidder process may determine, based on the retrieved bidding guidelines, a bid for a particular consumable content item to populate the solicited impression. The bidder process may then submit the bid to the content auction computing system.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method including receiving, at a server and from a browser configured on a device, a request to access the server, the server being associated with a brick and mortar store, transmitting an interactive interface to the browser on the device, and receiving, from the browser on the device and via use of the interactive interface, data associated with a product in the brick and mortar store. The server transmits via a browser application programming interface that defines a protocol for communicating data between the server and the browser a request associated with a purchase of the product and receives according to the API authorized payment data. The user can scan products codes in the store using the interactive interface. The process eliminates the need for point of sale equipment and eliminates checkout lines.

Abstract: A system and a method are provided for assembling, and publishing, a persistent cart of products online. The cart can have products from a single vendor or a variety of different vendors. When the cart is published, various deals, discounts, and incentives can be offered. An individual who created the cart can be rewarded. A computer readable non-transitory storage medium stores instructions of a computer program that when executed facilitates creation of the cart of items to be purchased and selects the individual or group of individuals to whom the cart is published. The purchasing of a cart does not eliminate the availability of the cart for subsequent users.

Abstract: Techniques for generating a digital wardrobe are presented herein. A transceiver can be configured to receive a request having a garment identifier and a user identifier. Additionally, an access module can be configured to access a first garment model, access a body model of the user corresponding to the user identifier, and access a second garment model corresponding to the user identifier. Furthermore, a processor can be configured by a garment simulation module to position the body model inside the first garment model and the second garment model, and calculate simulated forces based on the positioning. Moreover, a rendering module can be configured to generate an image of the garment models draped on the body model based on the calculated simulated forces. Subsequently, a display module can be configured to cause presentation of the generated image on a display of a device.
