Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for controlling a detail level of shopping data provided to frictionless shoppers. In one implementation, a method may comprise: receiving image data captured using one or more image sensors in a retail store; analyzing the image data to identify a plurality of product interaction events for at least one shopper in the retail store; determining shopping data associated with the plurality of product interaction events; determining a likelihood that the at least one shopper will be involved in shoplifting; based on the determined likelihood, determining an update rate for updating the at least one shopper with the shopping data; and delivering the shopping data to the at least one shopper at the determined update rate.

Abstract: A system and method for providing payments is disclosed. A method can include establishing a wireless link between a mobile device and a merchant device. After an instruction is displayed on the mobile device, a combination of a first type of input and a second type of input are received on the mobile device, first type of input including at least one button press of a physical button and the second type of input received from a user to confirm a payment for the purchase. Based on the inputs, payment data is retrieved from a memory of the mobile device. The method includes receiving the payment data at the merchant device to make the purchase, wherein receiving the payment data, via the wireless link, at the merchant device to make the purchase is performed according to a protocol for communicating the payment data to the merchant device.

Abstract: The disclosed system and methods adjust one or more parameters affecting the purchase of one or more items and change a buyer interface in order to display the consolidated parameter to a buyer. Example embodiments include a machine-implemented method for detecting an edit to the shopping cart, conducting a complex parameter editing simulation based on data accessed from multiple databases, adjusting a parameter associated with an item in the shopping cart, and adjusting and displaying a cart total to the buyer. The system can further receive an indication to checkout the shopping cart and edit complex parameters during checkout accordingly.

The system includes a checkout processing module to enable the interactive support agent platform to share a checkout page with the customer via a communication medium based on selected products corresponds to the identified merchant and perform a checkout process by transmitting billing and shipping information via a secure checkout page rendered within a chat window, a browser or the user interface corresponding to the interactive support agent platform.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for dynamically rendered interface elements during online chat sessions. A user may engage in online communications with another user, such as a communication session between a customer and a customer representative or agent of a merchant. During this communication session, the agent may navigate to particular data on the agent's device, which may be desirable to provide to the customer. For example, the agent may view a particular item of interest to the customer. An application programming interface of the merchant may detect one or more actions or calls associated with this data and may dynamically provide an interface element to transmit data displayed on the agent's device to the customer's device during the communication session. The customer may view a dynamically rendered interface element that allows for processing data during the communication session with the agent.

Abstract: Various methods are provided for programmatically providing a platform for responding dynamically providing a response to a property level availability call through API request based on run-time information. One example method may comprise receiving the property level availability call, the property level availability call configured to elicit a response identifying an availability of one or more of the plurality of specified properties for a specified time frame, determining, based on an associated bid, whether an affirmative response to the property level availability call is profitable, and in an instance in which the affirmative response is profitable, causing transmission of the affirmative response.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to systems and methods for preloading content on a user device before a user requests the content from a web service provider. The preloaded content may be selected based, at least in part, upon the user's browsing and purchasing history. The web service provider may preload the content to minimize user idle time when interfacing with a web site. The web service provider may determine when to send the preloaded content based, at least in part, on when the user device is likely to connect to the network and/or when the user is likely to use the device to interface with the web service provider.

Abstract: An object tracking system that includes a sensor, a weight sensor, and a tracking system. The sensor is configured to capture a frame of at least a portion of a rack within a global plane for a space. The tracking system is configured to detect a weight increase on the weight sensor and to determine a weight increase amount on the weight sensor. The tracking system is further configured to receive the frame, to determine a pixel location for the first person, and to determine a person is within the predefined zone associated with the rack. The tracking system is further configured to identify the plurality of items in a digital cart associated with the person, to identify an item from the digital cart with an item weight that is closest to the weight increase amount, and to remove the identified item from the digital cart associated with the person.

Abstract: A method includes a user device computing sending a use request regarding an exchange item to a merchant computing device. The method further includes the merchant computing device sending information representing the use request to a marketplace server. The method further includes the marketplace server identifying a user computing device that is associated with the exchange item. The method further includes the marketplace server generating a use verification code and sending it to the identified user computing device. When the user computing device is the identified user computing device, the method further includes the user computing device receiving the use verification code and sending to the merchant computing device. The method further includes the merchant computing device sending information representing the use verification code to the marketplace server.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for an on-line shopping assistant for in-store shopping. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for managing an on-line shopping assistant for in-store shopping is provided. The method includes locating an in-store shopper in a portion of a store by locating a mobile device registered in a database in association with the in-store shopper. The method also includes receiving a request for data through the mobile device pertaining to at least one item in the store and filtering the requested data based upon the location of the in-store shopper in the portion of the store. Finally, the method includes presenting the filtered data in a display of the mobile device.

Abstract: An object tracking system that includes a first sensor and a second sensor that are each configured to capture frames of at least a portion of a global plane for a space. The system is configured to identify a pixel location for a marker within a frame from the first sensor and to determine an (x,y) coordinate for the marker using a first homography. The system is further configured to identify a pixel location for a different marker in a frame from the second sensor and to determine an (x,y) coordinate for the marker using a second homography. The system is further configured to determine a distance difference between the computed distance between the (x,y) coordinates and an actual distance. The system is further configured to recompute the first homography and/or the second homography in response to determining that the distance difference exceeds a difference threshold level.

Abstract: A system for inventory and sales process control and display. The improved system for inventory includes a first database with a list of pre-assigned machine-readable code, a second database with a list of items, and a pricing database associated with each of the list of items in the second database. The second database is foreign keyed by machine-readable code number to the first database to associate one or more items listed in the second database with each of the pre-assigned machine-readable code. A query of the first database for a specific pre-assigned machine-readable code generates the associated list of items from the second database for that specific pre-assigned machine-readable code and a price for each of the items in the associated list of items. The system may also include at least one remote user interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods can support tree-based comparisons within a vendor comparison system. A vendor category may be established. Vendors associated with the vendor category may be identified. Capabilities associated with the vendor category may be specified. A capability tree structure may be established representing the relationships within the received capabilities according to a hierarchical structure. Indicators of one or more of the capabilities may be received for one or more of the vendors. The received indicators may be aggregated and organized according to the hierarchical structure associated with the capability tree. The capability tree may be defined and/or refined by the users. Comparison queries comprising indications of a subset of the capability tree for comparison may be received and evaluated. Evaluation results may be provided according to the aggregated indicators within the specified subset of the capability tree.

Abstract: A method for providing a real-time purchase recommendation includes receiving customer profile data associated with a customer and authorization request data associated with a request to authorize an attempted purchasing using a financial account associated with the customer. The method includes determining attempted purchase data including an identity of a merchant, a merchant location, and a purchase category associated with the attempted purchase. The method includes generating a sequential purchase recommendation based on the attempted purchase data, wherein the sequential purchase recommendation is a real-time recommendation for one or more goods or services for future purchase sequentially following the attempted purchase. The method further includes transmitting a message including the sequential purchase recommendation to a customer computing device associated with the customer.

Abstract: The methods and apparatuses described herein generally relate to providing a platform for allowing a website user to select a product for purchase at a non-merchant website. For example, a commerce engine can receive a request to review product information from a non-merchant website, and can translate the request into a format that can be understood by at least one merchant server using at least one type of commerce platform. The commerce engine can send the translated requests to at least one merchant server, and the merchant servers that receive the requests can determine information about the product (e.g., remaining inventory at particular merchants, product price, and/or other product details). The merchant servers can provide this information to the commerce engine, which can send the product information to the non-merchant website. The commerce engine can also facilitate a transaction with the merchant server, based on the product information returned by the non-merchant website.

Abstract: A method including receiving a plurality of orders comprising one or more items, wherein the server computing device is configured to communicate with a plurality of user devices of a plurality of users associated with a plurality of retail stores. The method also can include batching the plurality of orders into different commodities, and generating a plurality of rebatched orders according to an optimization algorithm. The method additionally can include sorting the one or more items within the plurality of rebatched orders by sequence numbers based on at least a respective volume of each respective one of a number of containers. The method further can include transmitting the one or more items within the plurality of rebatched orders to the plurality of user devices for filling the each respective one of the number of containers with the one or more items within the plurality of rebatched orders.
