Abstract: A vehicle door assembly, having a first frame component including a window frame for a window opening and two opposing lateral frame for defining a frame cut-out and forming a sill portion connecting the two lateral frame portions to one another, a second frame component for strengthening the window frame, the second frame component fixed on the first frame component, and a door module carrier formed from an organosheet and at least partially closes the frame cut-out. The door module carrier forming an edge portion fixed to the sill portion in a longitudinal direction of the sill portion. The organosheet is a supporting structural component and an edge portion thereof is reinforced by a reinforcing structure injection-moulded onto the organosheet and the edge portion thereof strengthens the sill portion of the first frame component where no portion of the second frame component is provided.

A fixed rotation structure is arranged at a position where each movable portion is connected to the corresponding fixed portion. Each movable portion is turned between a horizontal direction state and a vertical direction state by the rotation structure.

In certain embodiments, the land vehicles are provided as delivery vehicles and/or utility vehicles. The link mechanism includes a first link having a first link end, a second link end, and a first pivot engagement feature pivotally coupling the first link to the frame and to the cab such that the first link is pivotal about the first transverse axis. The second link end is configured to interface with the cab at a position forward of and below the first cab pivot and first pivot engagement feature when the cab is in the operational position.

Abstract: Disclosed is a storage compartment, in particular a storage compartment for a vehicle, comprising a cover flap which is connected to a carrier panel such that a storage space can be formed between the carrier panel and the cover flap, wherein the cover flap comprises at least two segments and each of the segments is connected to at least one other of the segments movably about a respective axis, wherein the cover flap is movable, by pivoting the segments, between a stable first position and a stable second position, in which the storage space is enlarged compared to the first position. When the cover flap assumes an instable third position between the first position and the second position, is subjected to a force in the direction of the first position or in the direction of the second position. The application further relates to an assembly which includes the storage compartment.

Abstract: A telescopically extendable truck bed shell including a shield assembly, a transmission assembly. The shield assembly includes shields telescopically connected together. The shields are configured to be mounted on top of a truck bed and attached at side rails. The transmission assembly includes a motor which drives motion to a threaded rod that is internally connected to the shields by means of bearing units and transmission gears. The motor is electrically powered and remotely controlled to permit a user to retract or extend the shields wirelessly. When contracted, the shields permit a user to easily retrieve items inside the truck bed.

The hinge element has a contact surface and two lateral walls at an angle to same. The lateral walls have a plurality of fold regions, such that a first hinge part and a second hinge part are formed between the fold lines in such a way that, in a use position, the storage device forms a stable support for objects and, in the folded state, same can be used for storing the objects.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a vehicle frame and a vehicle body. The vehicle body is supported on the vehicle frame. The vehicle body has a cabin and a cargo box. The cabin houses one or more vehicle seats of the vehicle. The cabin has a rear wall and the cargo box has a front wall that is adjacent to the rear wall. The rear wall of the cabin and the front wall of the cargo box together define a passthrough that connects a floor of the cargo box and a floor of the cabin. The passthrough is closeable by a barrier.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems are described for a cargo storage assembly. The system includes a first panel, a second panel, an overlap, and a hinge. The hinge is configured to rotate the second panel to a vertical orientation with respect to the first panel to expose an underfloor compartment. The first panel has a groove proximate to the second panel that extends along a top surface of the first panel. The second panel has a protrusion proximate to the first panel that extends along a bottom surface of the second panel. The protrusion of the second panel corresponds in size to the groove of the first panel. The overlap is formed between the groove and the protrusion with the first panel and the second panel in a horizontal configuration.

Abstract: An access panel at and on a cab step of a vehicle is provided for access to a compartment of the vehicle. In some instances, the access panel includes a tread portion and a riser portion such that the access panel has a substantially L-shape. A pair of hinge components are coupled to an internal surface of the access panel such that the access panel can be hingedly displaced between a closed position and an opened position. In the closed position, the access panel covers and protects the compartment within the vehicle, and in the opened position the access panel provides a user or mechanic access to the compartment. The compartment may contain wiring, batteries, gears, etc., that need to undergo routine maintenance, emergency fixes, or diagnostic tests.

A seat is engaged to the rolling chassis proximate to the front wheel. A handlebar is engaged to the rolling chassis proximate to the front wheel and is operationally engaged thereto. The handlebar is can be grasped in hands of a driver positioned on the seat, positioning the driver to selectively turn the front wheel to steer the rolling chassis.
