Abstract: A method and apparatus for supporting an early data transmission (EDT) in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state is provided. The current gNB receives a resume request message including uplink (UL) data from the wireless device, and transmits a logical channel identifier (LCID) for the UL data to the last serving gNB. The last serving gNB transmits UL forwarding user plane (UP) transport network layer (TNL) information to the current gNB based on mapping between the LCID for the UL data and data radio bearer (DRB) ID or protocol data unit (PDU) session ID in a UE context stored in the last serving gNB. The current gNB forwards the UL data to a core network via the last serving gNB based on the UL forwarding UP TNL information.
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying a first user associated with a first mobile device, and determining a first user type associated with the first user. Further embodiments can include identifying a first identity associated with the first user based on the first user type and identifying a second identity associated with the first user based on the first user type. Additional embodiments can include providing first alternate content to the first mobile device to mask the first identity and providing second alternate content to the first mobile device associated with the second identity. Abstract: Methods and devices for determining a load vector on an object are disclosed herein. An example method includes collecting location observations related to the object. The example method further includes filtering the location observations to determine an estimated model path. The example method further includes outputting a set of data from the estimated model path, wherein the set of data includes a model location, a model velocity, a model acceleration, and a model jerk. Abstract: A disclosed apparatus obtains emergency data for multiple device types from a plurality of emergency data sources and provides a jurisdictional map view to a plurality of emergency network entities, where each emergency network entity corresponds to a given geographic boundary. The jurisdictional map view corresponds to a respective emergency network entity's geographic boundary. The apparatus determines portions of the emergency data corresponding to emergencies occurring within each respective emergency network entity geographic boundary, and provides location indicators within each respective jurisdictional map view, with each location indicator corresponding to an emergency.

Abstract: A User Equipment (UE) device, such as a cellular telephone, configured to store Higher Priority Public Land Mobile Network (HPPLMN) timer setting values and enterprise geofence information associated with the entries on its Equivalent Home Public Land Mobile Network (EHPLMN) list is disclosed. When the UE is camped on an EHPLMN, the UE may search/scan for higher priority EHPLMNs using the HPPLMN timer setting values associated with the entries on the list that have higher priority than the current EHPLMN. The rate of the scans may be set based on the shortest HPPLMN timer entry of the higher priority entries on the EHPLMN list. The UE may also or instead be configured to search for geofenced EHPLMNs on the list for which entrance criteria are currently satisfied, even when the current EHPLMN has higher priority than the geofenced EHPLMNs.

Abstract: Locations for mobile computers may be adaptively determined in a system which includes a server, a set of mobile computers, and an administrator computer. In such a system, the set of mobile computers may each be programmed with instructions operable to, when executed, transmit multiple forms of location information to the server. Additionally, the server may be programmed with a set of location determination routines and these routines may be used in determining a location for each of the mobile computers from the set of mobile computers. These locations may then be used to populate an interface of the administrator computer with icons at positions corresponding to the mobile computers' locations.
Abstract: Techniques for multiple call types for a call event are described and may be implemented via a wireless device to enable multiple connections for wireless calls. For instance, redundant connections for a call event of a wireless device are established via different call types and utilized to exchange call media of the call event. In at least some implementations, call media from the different call types is combined to provide a combined media stream for output as part of the call event. Thus, techniques for multiple call types for a call event are applicable to increase call quality in different scenarios and environments, such as in situations where a primary call connection experiences an anomaly condition that causes quality call degradation.
Abstract: A device, system, and method for selecting a public safety answering point server to include on a call is provided. A first communication device associated with a first responder, during a call with a second communication device, provides first and second input mechanisms to select a public-safety answering point (PSAP) to include on the call, respectively based on an association with the first communication device or based on a location of the second communication device. In response to detecting activation of the first or second input mechanism, the first communication device respectively provides, to a network server: information to identify the association with the first communication device or the location of the second communication device. Subsequently, first and second communication devices communicate on the call with a PSAP as selected by the network server.

Abstract: A network node obtains (302) a message to be transmitted as a public warning system notification to multiple UEs, via one or more SIBs, and obtains (304) area information corresponding to the message. The area information indicates an area for which the message is relevant. The network node determines (306) how many SIBs are needed for transmitting the area information and segments (308) the message into a plurality of segments, based on how many SIBs are needed for transmitting the area information. The network node transmits (310) the message and the area information via SIBs, such that a segment of the message is included in each SIB and such that each portion of the area information included in a SIB is accompanied by a segment of the message. A UE receives the SIBs and assembles the message and area information, displaying the message if it is relevant.

Abstract: An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry, where to configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications above a 52.6 GHz carrier frequency, the processing circuitry is to decode higher layer signaling, the higher layer signaling including a default slot duration for a transmission of control signaling. The control signaling includes a synchronization signal (SS) and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) signaling. Synchronization information within a SS block is decoded. The SS block is received within a SS burst set and occupying a plurality of symbols within a slot having the default slot duration. A synchronization procedure is performed with a next generation Node-B (gNB) based on the synchronization information within the SS block and the PBCH signaling.
